Iirc he was in one guild full of insufferable twats that had a very strict entry policy, @Jaimas meet them in Destiny 1 iirc
Yeah, I had a few run-ins with Wu's buddies in the original Destiny. I also murdered several of them in the Crucible, so there's that.
Basically, Wu pals around with Feminist War Cult, who taxis her to new content and takes her into entry-level zones and helps her through shit that isn't too challenging like low-level versions of Vault of Glass after Taken King or the entry versions of Prison of Elders. Wu herself is a fucking embarassment of a player who only laconically participates.
Feminist War Cult, the clan she's in, is a bizarre hodgepodge of Destiny veterans (all of whom are white and male), and parasites who fucking suck at the game and rely on the skilled players in the clan to carry them until they can get high-level gear for minimum effort. The parasites are the ones that are the fun ones to fight, because while the skilled ones are a challenge, the Parasites are the ones you can kill 4 times by camping the same doorway. They have an insane recruitment process that demands you have a Twitter account and involves being questioned by like 4 of their people at once. They block you for the smallest of infractions against our lord and master third wave feminism.
I actually saw Wu in Destiny 1 once. She was in one of the hub zones, surrounded with her FWC buddies at the Reef turning in bounties during Taken King. I pointed at her several times and did a dance emote near her, but no one in her squad responded and they left as quickly as they arrived.
