I think the bit of the lie that BriBri is most entranced with is the whirlwind 11 day romance. That she can't even remember how many years she's been married just illustrates how little she cares about Frank.

The scam isn't for money. It's to create the illusion of actually mattering for John.

As for Frank, I think he has some kind of feminization fetish or something even more sick, and literally gets off at the thought of John chopping off his cock for him.

Wu basically went off the deep end in rejecting a life of wealth and luxury all in the name of getting their dick cut off and living a parody of that life. Ironically, all because of being a spoiled fuck from birth who never learned that you needed to invest time, effort, and money into things to get somewhere in life.

In a word? Very.

Brianna lives an isolated life where he never has to be around people of different backgrounds or opinions and never has to deal with the consequences for his actions. He's a sheltered, spoiled rich brat who somehow made it to the age of 40 still living life like that.
 
With which journalist was Wu arguing about journalistic standards regarding deadnames? I wonder if that (presumably real) journalist knows to ask what J-school Wu graduated from that "she" knows anything about the standards of journalism.
