Time for one of my occasional serious posts about Flynt For Congress: has anyone noticed that John has absolutely no clue who holds the levers of power in... well, anything? His entire strategy (if you can call it that) is "Win the media, come up with the hottest takes and cuttingest retorts on social media, and win the election". We never see him trying to get endorsements, buddying up with local leaders, or anything like that. The only time John ever mentions leaders of any sort is to slag them off.
I mean, for the love of God, he lives in Massachusetts - one of the few places in the country where you could find people who unironically agree with his views. Why hasn't he gone out to the most liberal churches he can find and tried to get some endorsements from local pastors? Why doesn't he give a talk at the Young Democrats club at the local colleges? There are plenty of Massachusetts-ites who would love to hear from a terrifying non-passing trans woman. But he's not engaging them at all.

Because he doesn't want to win, he is just doing it for attention, he knows that in the very very very little chance he manages to win he has to work with other people, worst, he has to deal with FILTHY WHITE MALES that are going to say in his face that he is a moron, and he can't block people IRL. Politics is nasty game everywhere in the world and he is going to be completely destroyed because he doesn't have qualifications or any redeemable trait, he can't just enter congress and yell "OK PEOPLE LET'S TALK ABOUT OPPRESSION IN THE TECH INDUSTRY", he is going to be laughed at best (i will pay too see john being laughed on national tv, don't you americans have a channel for that?)

This is just a big stunt, i'm more surprised that this charade has lasted for so long, well his charade about being a game developer lasted like a couple of years and now he doesn't ever bother talking about it

It's an amicus curiae brief for some Supreme Court case involving the NLRB. Why John gives a shit about this, I have no idea. I see no other context and I don't know what the case is about.

Susan Fowler seems to be a prominent woman in tech, of course. Her Twitter bio includes the phrase "Yes, I'm *that* Susan Fowler!" I have no idea who she is and on the basis of that line I am already inclined to hate her.

EDIT: Oh, she's the "Uber whistleblower." I can't wait to see how many Uber rides are on John's next set of financials.

It seems to me to simplify the scenario if you see Frank simply as the man who can't say no, who is constitutionally incapable of calling Wu out on her lies and closing his wallet to her dreams of becoming an overnight success. Yes, BriBri creates a lot of extra work for Frank, be it doing most of the geometry for her game or doing all the paperwork for her scampaign in addition to his day job, but that only matters if you think Brianna cares about how Frank feels. Brianna hit the workshy tranny lottery by meeting Frank, she can get by with the pocket money from her patreon and campaign donations because she has no friends and no expenses, the only thing she "needs" are toys. Wu's only concern is never to have to do any work whatsoever, because the minute she's forced to seek honest employment is the minute all her lies about herself come crashing down.

The thing is, the idiotic schemes have a bit of good sense buried in them. Like Rev60 - the kernel of truth there is "High-quality ambitious games on mobile is an underserved market and we could make some money here". Maybe they could have, if they assembled a competent team and delivered a half-decent game while the market was at its hottest. In practice... well, we saw how that went.
Same thing with politics. The notion that there's an opportunity for political newcomers on the left isn't wrong. Just... everything else about the campaign is wrong.
