The sidewalks you walk on (if you walk you fat fuck), the streets you drive on, the local utilities you have, like gas, electric, water, all of that shit is determined by your local and state governments. You probably also have county commissioners. Do you even know who they are?

But people who don't know any of this obsess about the evil Orange Nazi President who doesn't do a goddamn thing to affect their actual lives.

I doubt John knows any of these people in his own local environment, either. But he wants to join the federal government, even though he doesn't know who the fucking dog catcher is wherever he lives.
