If Apple shits out some new hype at WWDC in a few days, there's a decent chance he gets caught up in something from that and just sets his campaign on cruise control (even more than it is now). I remember when the Spice Girls were a thing, and I'm around John's age. And let me tell you, the only people our age who cared about them -- a band that not only produced intensely forgettable music but who were also a blatantly obvious production of corporate thinking -- were either genuinely exceptional or deliberately weird.
