Why not both?
Besides, District 8 doesn't have nearly a big enough "fuck it" vote to matter and Wu has done nothing in the district to get her name out there for that to even be conceivable.
EDIT: Regardless of what the author's intent here is, I applaud them for being the first LGBT outlet to not play coy with Wu's identity like the others. It always bothered me that the others would allow Brianna to use the "bisexual" claim as a shield for all of her bullshit.

And a motorcycle that as best I can tell neither of them is licensed to drive. Though IIRC w/a motorcycle permit in MA you can do almost everything you can do with a license... though God only knows if Wu even has one of those at this point.

The entire engineering class of 2017 is about 32 students. The total class was about 600, or roughly 5% engineers.
EDIT: and there are at least 18 CS majors, which would make the total "women in tech" a whopping 8%.

Nah, that was a tweet from the real Wu. She used that Photoshopped MySpace angle pic forever before getting the motorcycle. Plus, we have the bankruptcy papers showing that Wu's parents bankrolled John's failure of an animation studio.
