And on top of that until very recently, he was hectoring and lecturing these very same trannies about troonery, while pretending to be a cis woman, even though every single one of them knew he was a fucking troon because even they aren't that retarded not to know that.
I would have said his biggest flaw was arrogance. We could also throw in grandstanding, laziness, a lack of empathy, narcissism, preening, general mendacity, insecurity, ignorance and obliviousness, but I guess most of those are related to arrogance.

Also, "agency over our bodies" is an absolutely insincere argument because John imposes his fantasy on other people and he wants that imposition to be legally enforceable.

Everything about this story is pathetic. Just say “I was in an anime store because I’m a weeb and I saw a twink I liked the look of. If he was trans, I could have something to talk to him about.”
Ultimately the whole anecdote is just there to bolster John’s claim that there are “true,” innate trans women (LIKE HIM) and fake ones (like anyone he doesn’t like).
