Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate
Brianna Wu will never, ever, get to the U.S. Congress for a number of reasons. At best, she'll be that unknown candidate whose name appears on the ballot that only a handful of people vote for...that is, if she even fills out the proper paperwork.
Has Wu ever conducted herself in a debate or any sort of public speaking event where the audience weren't all yes men who didn't question her? I mean, during that one interview, she demanded if it was a "hit piece", despite the fact that the interviewer wasn't right-wing or pro-GG at all. Can you imagine her trying to deflect criticism in Congress?
So, Wu's decided to run right at a fucking giant ass windmill. I doubt Lynch even needs to spend money to knock a twitching, buzzing, spaz like BriBri out the sodd
I just want to step back for a second and point out that every single member of the House was just (re-)elected a month ago, and that this is the single stupidest time to be starting a campaign.
She won a pretty competitive Democratic primary in the 2013 special election that got her to Congress in the first place. She then beat some nobody Republican in the special general election, and has been completely unchallenged since.

Two Democrats and six Republicans lost general elections this year, and two Democrats and three Republicans lost primary elections. 4/5 of the primary losses, however, were related to court-ordered redistricting, indictments, or a combination thereof.
Regardless, it's really fucking hard to defeat an incumbent U.S. Representative. There's no way that Brianna Wu has the base of support or the ability to raise the necessary funds to win.
Right, but I mean every single member of the incoming 2017 House is someone who just won an election. Wu coming in now and essentially demanding a do-over is farcical.
