Osx doesn't have sophisticated text to speech programs? I guess they never went to the system preferences panel where you can literally set up a custom keybind to play text to speech of your choice at any given time without having to open a shitty app like siri. There's hundreds of options and even the "non english" ones are able to speak in english. I can give Apple flak for so many things but they've had really great text to speech built into the system for around a decade or more now. All you need to do is right click to select everything and then press your keybind. Anything less than that would quickly become infuriating because of how frequently the text to speech would go off.

Oh yeah, Wu is pretty tough. Like that one time that toad from Ralph Report took a photo of her and she had him ejected. Or the other time someone asked her a question at another event, had them kicked out and nearly called the bomb squad for the kid's backpack he left behind because he was yanked out so quickly.

ahaha...I only have an iPhone because it's work issue, and i don't know dick about its abilities aside from the basic functions I've come to learn from day to day use. Claiming Apple had no text to speech seemed fishy, and lo and behold...
Settings>Accessibility>text to speech>speak highlighted selections puts a "speak" button next to the "copy" button whenever you highlight something. (and I'm still on iOS 8.1.1)
Ehnjinear and Appul eckspirt Wu strikes again.
Not like those amateurs at Nintendo. I mean, Wu's game absolutely eclipses Pokémon in terms of peak players on Steam.

Google shows instructions to enable built in text to speech if you type "Osx text to speech" it enabls a global hotkey so she could use notepad or google docs to do what she's doing. osx also comes with the unix say command installed by default and although I haven't used them i know you can use text to speech in applescript if you're feeling lazy and there is a cocoa library if you need to use a more capable language. I think you might be able to write an app similar to hers in applescript in a few minutes.
A decade ago OSX might have had better text to speech than any other os today. I can't accept that she installed and used dev tools even in a supporting role and didn't look at every panel in the mac's basic settings in frustration at least once, she has owned that thing like 8 years.. Like how did she even download that app without seeing the google tip?

Nah, she's too much a captive of her fellow travelers/Patreon donors to do much in that direction. She'll do something that seems halfway reasonable, like when she had a cup of coffee with Brad Wardell and SJW Twitter will go bat-shit on her. And then back down.
To her credit, so far as I know she's never pulled any of the shit Zoe vanCheleseaLockeberg did vis a vis actively doxing people, or the crap that group of mutts tried to pull on BestMomEva. Granted that sets the bar pretty low, but it is SOMETHING.

Awareness of a disability gives people understanding. What puts fear into them are people like you going on a spastic rage, because then people feel like they are treading on eggshells. Its the people who are not affected by it, not the people wanting others to understand it.
Also lopping off your cock or shaving your adams apple isn't a disability. What is a disability though is your autistic brain.

As an engineer I use the 'say' terminal command for all my text to speech needs. Literally just reads whatever you type when you press enter.
but I wouldn't want to mansplain that to Wu who should be well aware of it.

For the safety of those involved, I can't discuss the details of the Anons who came forward to explain their own stories, which have included active attempts by Wu to get them banned from Cons and events.
