Even all the women is his comics were backstabbing, irresponsible socialites that found success simply by their feminine guile. Brianna's views have only changed in the sense that she now assumes everything she feels is universal to the female gender. But he's still the ostracized college weirdo, raging on the sidelines and pondering how, how could these less-intelligent and less talented specimens find more success than him? When sorority girls act assertive and bossy, it's considered brave and progressive, but when John Flynt did it he got labelled an aspie jerk.

He projected his image of female social circles into his comics, and then years later he failed his 10th year of college, his animation business flopped, his colleagues abandoned him, and the jealously became too much. The only difference he could see between himself and others was gender. So he became the Madonna caricature he idolized.

When Brianna attributes all criticism and pushback to sexism, you have to consider what she wants to be true. She wants it to be true that people are attacking her identity as opposed to her behavior. Now can you imagine how he must have responded to criticism prior to transitioning? Without the sexism shield it must have been maddening for him, to be raised by rich parents as a child prodigy only to get to college and finding out that he's actually inadequate. It was literally unfathomable.

She tweeted at unity3d, the company that makes the game engine, when it clearly states in the image and link she posted that it was a PayPal event.

Or he shopped around to find a doc who would sign off on anything he said. I don't know much about transition therapy but I would think a responsible mental health professional would address the other, obvious issues John Flynt has before even touching his desire to become Brianna.

I think any therapist that dealt with john would need therapy themselves after his sessions. I have to wonder how much John is fucked up because pumping estrogen into a fully developed adult male body is not seemingly healthy as well as voluntarily lopping off your own nads. The way the surgery even works is that the body tries to close the fake vag like an actual wound.

Anyone thinks he get phantom limb with his dong and he perceives it as the ghost of his maleness haunting him?

Oh it sure as shit isn't healthy. Flooding a male body with estrogen fucks up the brain chemistry. Yes, all drugs and chemicals interact and change the brain's chemistry in some way, but trying to forcibly tell the human body it's something that it isn't just doesn't work. Trying to convince it by way of hormones doesn't help pull off the illusion. Troons like Flynt can run their mouths all they like, but it just isn't natural. Your body trying to fix your mangled crotch isn't your body yielding to the patriarchy or some other bullshit, it's trying to fix itself and return it to its normal state.

But I will admit that Phantom Dong Syndrome sounds hilarious.

The problem is that the keyboard version shares the same timeout with the mouse/touch control version. In most cases, it isn't a problem because the timeout is so generous that it's difficult to fail.

There are however, two instances of this really short timeout in the game. It's fairly easy in touch control mode, slightly more difficult with the mouse, impossible with the keyboard. In the case, failing the QTE is fatal.

The proper fix is to break out the QTE timeouts by control method, move them out to a config file and then select which config to load based on the settings. A cheap hack would be just to put a multiplier in the circle QTE class constructor, and make all the circle QTEs easier on PC. Even hackier would be to special case the one really short timeout value and add a couple of seconds to it.

I'm curious to see if Wu even can fix it though. It has been over a week already that she's been "looking in to it."

John really has no empathy at all, does he? This wasn't a lego figure they melted, they killed off his mother. While a trope, it's certainly a valid reason to go hunting down the motherfucker that did it.

You would probably be wasting your time in doing so, the majority of Flynt's crowd uses Block Together, a Twitter application that allows for shared block lists as well as automatically blocking any accounts that tweet at you and are below a certain age or follower threshold if the option is enabled. Being that this is Flynt we are talking about, it almost certainly is.

It's not like its a staple of mythic storytelling to have a character's parent die and drive them. Almost like-- like it's a fantasy story.

Oh shit it's almost like the movie's story that's explicitly leading into a game about male bonding and dudes on a road trip is triggered in part by the death of feminine influence in his life. Like he's growing up and-- ah fuck it, can't make games with themes of being men. Can't do that. You can only make games and movies about what it's like to be a woman and only men can die.
