Wu reappeared on her podcast this week, and she really shouldn't have. She sounds like Harvey Fierstein. I guess she didn't want to give the other co-hosts too much time, otherwise they'd come to the conclusion that Wu contributes nothing and the whole enterprise would go smoother without her.

Anyway, she said what the surgery was supposedly for. Apparently she developed a hole in her vocal cords while campaigning that needed to be fixed. Not a tranny surgery at all, no sir.

You'd think that John might at least bother to look up a real condition. Telling people that you had "a hole" in your "vocal cords" is ridiculous.

I'm too lazy to look, so I'll ask: Is he still wearing the beret to cover his ever-advancing male pattern baldness?

I'm pretty sure raccoons can be pets, it's legal in a bunch of states though not Massachusetts. They're just really difficult because they will get into everything and shit all over and so on.

Wu should totally do this though:

They have Domesticated Zebra/Pet Cougar problem, which is even when you get the one-in-fifty tamable one, they haven't had their wild tendancies bred out of them so even the "good" ones are prone to spats of being a goddamn wild creature.
Raccoons are especially troublesome because they are smart and dexterous.
Pretty sure if someone was to dedicate 50 years or so to raccoon breeding you'd have a moderately tame example. But why bother when we have cats.

That being said, they wouldn't be a good fit : Raccoons are used to the outdoors and it'd be too difficult to freeze em to death

I wonder what John's response would be if someone were to tweet "I approve of women, as a general principle. It's an idea that could work. Very execution dependent". I'm sure he would call out the blatant misogyny of such a statement. Yet, "feminists" like John love to throw out casual misandry and think it's just so hilarious. Men are pigs, right ladies? Tee-hee.

I came across of photo of my late Mom holding a raccoon. It was obviously someone's pet (or at least pretty tame) because it was kind of hugging my mom. I'm sure there's a funny story behind that photo, but sadly I'll never know it.

Personally, I don't go near raccoons because I had a rabid one in my backyard a few years back. Had to call animal control on it. Felt guilty, but putting that poor thing down was an act of mercy. But now they scare me. I'm not taking any chances with rabies.

I suspect that this all got started because John Googled "HOW TO DEAL WITH CROTCH ROT" and then clicked the wrong link for Mind Riot.

I'll bet that's what his "throat surgery" was really for.

I was just reading some excellent educational materials on that..There's a word for that..."across" or something like that, but more classical language...hmm
