I love it when people attack John from the left, because it really highlights what thin ice he's on with the only people that will accept him. He's really a Hillary Democrat trying to blend in with the Kylie Brooks left.
Brianna isn't even really a Hillary democrat. It was only a few years ago that she was still tearing Hillary apart for both opposite and identical reasons she now attacks Obama. We are only a year or less out from her bashing "Bernie Bros" and assuming his female supporters just weren't woke enough to realize their unconscious sexism or some similar garbage.
She respects no one and stands for nothing (see Uber, Nintendo, gay rights, drag queens, etc.)
The only consistent things about Brianna are:
- She lives for the thrill of soap boxing; it's a pure rush. Pretending she's on the far left makes her seem "fierce" in her own eyes, only even she can see that the extreme left is flawed just like the extreme right is. The farther left she pretends to sit, the more ground she loses with "woke Twitter"
- She thrives on attention. Psych 101: She lived her whole life a social outcast, only to finally "bloom" into her cosplay of what she thinks a fierce feminist is at, what, 35? Then she tried to make s game and be relevant. Cue goober gate or whatever the fuck that was.
- She has to be right. Always. She will insulate herself to the point where she is safe from challenge. Even these speaking engagements at UD and similar come with more strings than a marionette. Her excuse? The false death threat narrative. Idiots like that Jace lunatic really helped her out here.
- She has no ethical North Star. Everything is kosher or can be twisted into being kosher if it benefits her, no matter what she said about it previously and no matter who it harms
All of this is why I can't always decide if Frank is a victim or a bad guy. My best guess is that he's both, and that he's extremely spineless and crazy enough to be Brianna's chief supporter. I suspect he has much of a false victim complex as she does. Remember the drama with his ex-wife?
Bill, if you're reading this: thank you. It's about time journalists start looking at the whole picture. We have plenty more provable contradictions from Brianna's life if you want them. Her previous "careers" that she lies about having might be of particular interest. She was never an investigative journalist, she never worked at a tech startup like she claims in her Inc piece - she was at some mall Game Stop working the register, she did none of the technical work on rev 60 and couldn't program a basic script if she had to. It's all there, the facts and the proof, for any journalist who wants them.
IIRC, the problem is that most of Wu's donations come from out of district and even out of state. These people only know her because of Twitter and GamerGate-related articles on some websites. And since those people are most likely stuck in their echo chamber, I don't think they are going to notice if Wu gets officially exposed. Unless someone files a complaint with the FEC (or whatever you do to report her), it wouldn't surprise me if she retries the same scam in 2020.
Some people just want to keep their heads in the sand. This is why she still gets Patreon dollars despite having burned her "games studio" to the ground and despite Natalie not being a real person.
There are people in the middle tho who just haven't made the effort to learn about her. Brianna has set things up to where any negative things written about her are supposedly the doing of gamer gate and 4chan. They dismiss it immediately. Get real journalists to publish the truth, and some of these people will stop dismissing it. That's when the narrative will crash down.
Don't worry. Wu will never go away. She'll just make her next career move that of social commentator, making a few bucks from podcasts and interviews. She'll be safe there because she can keep lying about literally everything without fear of being called out.
