Isn't the Xeno franchise usually really good about fairly complex female characters? KI mean, I've only read played Xenogears and watched played Xenosaga I (do own Wii Xenoblade tho), so I can't say for all of it. But those two games had very strong characters in general.

we live in a timeline where Rev60 got made and is potentially going to get a follow up, but the original Xenogears project is only a glimmer in our eyes. we're clearly in the Biff timeline.
