Wu's hateboner for Bloodborne tells me that she never was able to git gud.

Even DSP was able to git... well, not gud, but able to finish the other three Souls games.

Wu's Bloodborne shitposting is just a really weak attempt to rile up "core gamers" into tweeting abuse at her. So fucking transparent, even her "Luigi should be retconned into being gay" tweet was more subversive.

1. Wu and Bloodborne. ALSO WOWWW THIS GAME IS RIGGED
I guess she is now about "Ethics in Games Journalism" when it's convenient to her and her circle.

no examples of her praising individual members of her team.
She did praise that maria chick who appears to have been the backbone of the whole thing, I remember thinking it was out of character. I have a strong feeling that she single handedly saved the game from becoming system shock meets big rig racing.
However, Frank Wu worked in the game and she did everything she could to hide him.
The Brianna story is so uninspiring.
College dropout twice squanders what would be once in a lifetime opportunities in the span of a few years. The chance to go to college and 200k seed money to start a business.
After failing as a man with all it's privileges whatever they may be, then becomes a woman, acquires at least some of her funds to do this by means of deception.
Marries a man, within a few years convinces him to invest his entire life savings into another harebrained scheme. Then has him support the entire household on his own income, gets him to call in favors with family to keep roof over their heads, has him secretly do work on pet project in addition to all of this.

With no experience managing software projects, hires friends mostly to do artwork, development staff seems to be an afterthought, project appears to drift left and right with no clear development strategy, hires inexperienced developers, fires them, gets someone competent. Starts referring to herself as a developer, engineer, etc. Wastes massive amounts of time on twitter. Project fails.

Despite getting handed over a half million dollars to pursue her dreams she has accomplished very little with it. This much money is half of what someone with her level of education would expect to make on average over the course of their entire life.

I know what she is talking about DanganRonpa is because the first game has a character that love to Crossdress, Chihiro fujisaki, i felt like shit when it was "removed"

and her hate for bloodborne is because

a) is a REAL an FUN game not like R60
b) git gud brianna

8. Wu and Chan Culture

I have to say, as someone who has been using image boards since I was like... 12, I'd argue that Chan culture has made me more empathetic. The anonymous nature makes everyone play on an even level- you're a nobody, unless you're a tripfag (in which case, you're a jerk), and that makes it so you're forced to convey your ideas and feelings and such in a more verbose manner.

Hell, the major consistencies about chan morality seems to be a burning hatred for censorship and a warped, morbid sense of humor (and depending on what hour and board you're on, self-hate and/or self-deprecation). Considering this is Wu, I can totally understand how those would be bad things.

also funny story. We have confirmed devs who lurk chans- hell, I think we even spotted the Bioshock guy because he posted an image of somethign only he and one other person would have for SysShock 2. I remember that Warren Ellis, an award-winning comic writer, browsed /co/.

The creator of Log.Horizon did a impromptu AMA on /a/ a few years back. Hell, even the guys doing the Sonic and Megaman comic fucking go there. /m/ had a frequent conversation with Vertical, Inc over their translations. I'm pretty sure /tg/ gets a few devs now and then.

People who have actually made something of themselves, instead of bitching about THEM DIRTY GOOBERGATERS on twitter 24/7.

So wait, I was possibly right about GSK's employees being paid with patreon table scraps?

Also what's this about TotalBiscuit now?
He defended a limerick in Pillars of Eternity that SJWs had their panties in a bunch over. It's fucking nothing, and it's backer content (most of which is awful).

3. LOOK AT MY STATS, SO PLEASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE UNDERSTANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

>be an obvious transwoman who can't pass for shit
>persistently refuse to acknowledge it
>twitt about transpeople needing more visibility

You can't make this stuff up.

4. SJWs just have to be offended at anything.

Is she aware that @CHOBITCOIN is herself trans? Why did Brianna encourage people to donate to her patreon less than one hour after this recent attempt to play victim?

When Revolution 60 finally releases for Steam, and gets reviewed publicly by a userbase that Brianna herself cannot sockpuppet or lock down, then we'll finally have the ultimate carpet-bombing of her ego, played out for everyone to see. It's going to be fucking glorious.

I think it's the fact Wu can not subvert the Steam userbase - the greenlighting thing was an unmitigated disaster of PR from start to finish when even the initial white knights finally turned on the mass-censoring Wu was desperately trying to enforce wholesale - that will determine R60 never actually being put onto Steam. The fact the two people who were most involved in the actual game coding got booted because of her ego or other reasons aside - meaning it's likley Wu can't actually port the game, she doesn't know how! - she can't throw R60 to the GG wolves. She knows they'll tear it apart at every stitch and seam to find flaws, then all the porn of the characters that will inevitably happen just to spite her, and then even more likley people will rebuilt their own R60 copies to be far superior games and make Wu look even more like the trust-funded idiot they've always been.

This means that Giant SpaceKat now consists of Wu, her main programmer, Maria Enderton, and Frank.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but in this instance you were incorrect. Maria Enderton is the one who created the combat system, and she was let go in February of 2015 after her work "revamping" the Steam port was finished. R60 is done, but Wu is spending all this time either making Frank "fix" the models or hoping all the negative attention dies down so she can release the already compiled binary to little fanfare. Or both. Who really knows with her?

Her team now consists of:
Brianna Wu (Grand Leader of everything and Project Manager)
Amanda Warner ("lead animator" and Project Manager)
Frank Wu (space ship modeler)

That's the whole team. That's everyone. Two project managers, one of whom is known for designing animated logos for companies, and a sci/fi artist with minimal modeling skills.

I wonder if this is how Wu's animation studio died. Start a company purely to work on some ill-conceived pet project that has no audience outside of her, fire a bunch of staff when they go against her "vision", have one or two inexperienced people basically redo the entire project, throw massive hissy fits at whatever is around them, and then the company dies without ever really doing anything because the owner is an egomaniacal nutcase.

Well if the coding is done they don't need anyone else. I think that these remaining people all basically work for free so now they're just trying to cut their losses and hope that steam is their saving grace. Of course a sane person would have seen that this was doomed to begin with, you don't just hand your life savings over to someone who has already blown half that without showing you that they're a winner sometimes. Hell adam sandler is making movies to this day because of billy madison and happy gilmore. I really want to know what evidence she presented that funding her company was going to pay off.

Aren't project managers the kind of people you'd have on a large scale operation? Like I dunno, you got a whole bunch of guys doing all kinds of concept art for everything and you'd have a project manager to make sure that's all going at the right pace?

Unless this is more inner soggyknees and Wu's implying that two female project managers would be needed to deal with one male "employee"

So has Wu ever given any reason for her Bloodborne hateboner besides the character creator not letting her make her Bratz dolls? Becuase it seems like she's desperately trying to bait attacks to look like a victim.

What do you mean?

It's an absolute crime that Testicle hair is not a character option! Fuck lore, that's for men.

It's because Bloodborne is the thing everyone is talking about and not her.

If you look at the bankruptcy filing for Socially Unconscious Productions, the company was started around Feb 16, 1999, by John Flynt, Sara Champagne, and Stephen Phillips, with 70-20-10 percent ownership. The company engaged in its animation business from that date to March 2000. Phillips stopped working and was terminated January 14, 2000. Champagne stopped working and resigned in February 2000.

(At the time of dissolution 2-2.5 years later, Flynt has no idea where those two people are, and they didn't leave forwarding addresses. The debts of the company were three loans from Flynt's parents, for initial payments of $96,000; $6,000; and $68,194.04, for which no payments at all were made.)

So this is a pattern. This time Flynt has attached himself much more firmly, like a lamprey, to a more suitable host, so this could go on for quite some time.

The Patreon brings in about 40K a year (was it always that?) and they grossed about 120K from the game. So 7 more years of Patreon support and they'll break even, I guess.

Brianna calling himself a professional at game design reminds me of Hitler thinking of himself as a brilliant strategist for some reason.

Either way, her Tweets are oozing of both arrogance and ignorance. I find it borderline offensive that he thinks herself to be a professional in a field in which she has proven herself to be incredibly incompetent.
