Especially funny, considering Amy Hennig just got a standing ovation at GDC for saying that the industry was not inherently misogynistic.

GDC seem to be a minefield of opinions right know. I would not be surprised if there is a fist fight or something like that, AAA Devs seem to be more pissy about their indie colleagues shitting in the communal table.

I was listening the GB Bombcast today and the crew was saying they didn't go to the GDC because the lack of time but later were mocking it and saying that has become weird as is becoming less tech oriented. GB took a neutral position and they are SF based but Jeff have alluded that his opinion is actually less SJW friendly than their friends think.

Many people were mad about their Sketch against "gamer" concept in the beginnings of GG, but I think they were actually mocking it as a corporate buzzword (because it actually was, the demoderby videos paint a cringe worthy picture of the beginning of "gamer pride") and not outright declaration of war as Wu and Leigh tried too.

I think they know, even when they are (were?) friends with the SF clique, that this stuff is not going to last and the SJW indie alternative of NeoGamer is as bad as teenagers making videos as Captain PlayStation to get to e3.

Last time I remember the GDC (Game Developers Conference) was ran by the same parent company (UBM) that run the website Gamasulta which was the site that helped with the whole silversting campaign where 10 websites published "gamers are dead" articles.

It's even better when you remember that Macintosh probably more or less wrote her Master's Thesis.(she thanks him for contributing to it) How much of her isn't some jackass's attempt at pinkwashing? The only thing I can be absolutely sure of is that she used to work for known con-artists.
