I can't help but think Wu wants the modding community to absolutely destroy R60 for more ammo to use in bitching about how the internet is out to get her (which isn't exactly wrong, honestly, but not for the reasons she states).

Thing is, how she doesn't think releasing the entire game code on Greenlight to these people will not ultimately destroy any credibility she has as a game dev is beyond me. Along with the R34 and the parody mockery, there will be people who take the game code and overhaul it to look far, far better in far less time than 4 years.

Also, out of curiosity, I googled R60's book. Strangely, Wu didn't write it!

It's probable that most of the characters are just reskinned versions of stock characters from publicly available dev tools. I haven't confirmed this, but if someone could, it would be pretty easy to generate parodies and other content that didn't even use anything copyrighted by Wu or the company.

Because you can bet there will be floods of retarded DMCA notifications. It'd be better for everyone involved (except Wu) if they were fraudulent.

Her stupid book doesn't explain anything. It goes into all sorts of useless details like, "Here's a full page bio on a character that gets a single line mention in R60. He's a man though so we didn't even make a character model for him for the codex, he just gets a generic dude silhouette. Also, here are 20 pages of statistics on vehicles that don't even appear in the game, complete with MPH and weight classes"
