I've said this before, but I'll restate it: People are remembered for their talents and contributions, not for being oppressed victims. Even people who were oppressed victims (and I'm talking about people who have ACTUALLY been oppressed and victimized, like Holocaust survivors) and are still remembered aren't recognized just because they're victims, they're remembered for spreading awareness, inspiring people, and basically just trying to move past their victimhood so they can try to make something worthwhile out of their pain. Brianna doesn't have any of these things. But whatever, that's all a moot point anyway because, as I've established, her assertion is about as true as the statement "The sky is green."
• "Started a hit podcast" I highly doubt that anything that Brianna produces is a "hit." Also, I've heard that her podcast is really fucking boring, so I doubt that even her cheerleaders will want to stick with it.
• "Have endless career opportunities" Which will dry up the second that Gamergate ends or stops giving her attention. Brianna is not getting "recognized" because of her talent; she's getting recognized because she's a victim, which I've already covered. She has absolutely no staying power whatsoever.

My God, can someone please just get her to shut the fuck up? Preferably by blocking her from accessing Twitter? I don't know how that's possible but it needs to be done.

-A game she'll claim is GOTY just because some website gave it that (and from what I hear, she might be buddies with the people behind it.)
-Outside of things like GamerGate and the media, I don't think any gamer would even know who Brianna Wu is, especially if they don't bother with the news and all.
-Boring could translate to "hit" in her mind. Never heard it but I'm oddly interested in seeing how boring it is.
-Is being a victim a career opportunity? Aside from screaming "oppression", is there really any skill she has that can take advantage of said opportunities?

Lol, despite how she made a huge theatrical production out of ignoring GamerGate from now on, she couldn't even make it to 2015 without opening that can of worms again. Maybe she realized that 95% of the people who pay attention to her only do so because of GamerGate?

And if she really is trying to get GamerGate off her back (which is doubtful, considering that it gives her the only publicity she's ever had), she's doing a crappy job of it. When you go on and on about how much something doesn't bother you and say that you're laughing at the people who are bothering you, it doesn't send out a message that you're actually over it. It says that you actually are really bothered by it because otherwise you wouldn't give it any attention at all.
