So... Wu chooses to receive harassment from "Gamergate" so that he can say that he gets harassed by Gamergate.

What an awful world Wu must live in where he chooses to be constantly glued to his phone checking Twitter for anyone saying mean things about him. For someone who gets so many "threats," you would think that, I don't know... something bad might have actually happened to him at this point.

Also, RE: Star Wars, if Wu were a true Star Wars fan, he would have read the many Expanded Universe novels that included female protagonists. And since it's a book, you can imagine the character as whatever skin color you want! Thank God Disney jettisoned all of that great diversity in literature in favor of bland popcorn flicks that rehash old films for today's modern tech feminist "geek" with ADHD! I mean, Wu insists that people who don't like the prequels are only "half-fans" of Star Wars, so by that logic, he must be a 1% fan for only being interested in the movies, right?

Alternative hypothesis: Wu just uses the Star Wars movies as a shield that lets him cash in on "geek cred" and to act smug by saying "I'm a better fan because I like all the shitty movies!" and, as usual, doesn't know what he's talking about.
