Shit, boys... It's nearly Christmas and still no Rev 60. How will John feel knowing that all the feminist boys and girls and trannies won't get their favorite game for Christmas?

The professional thing to do, rather than just calmly ignoring the invitation, is to plaster it all over social media.
To be fair, we draw attention to this kind of angry sperging all the time.
The difference is we're doing it for laughs, Wu is doing it for Patreon.

BREAKING NEWS REVOLUTION 60 IS BEING RELEASED.
Nah just kidding assholes. That's never happening.

edit:
CRITICAL DANGER SITUATION, ORIGINAL TWEET WAS BURNED BECAUSE IT TRIGGERED SOMEONE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!
Just as dumb.

Oh look, she has an entire team of girls going against one guy. You don't think she's compensating for anything, do you?

Remember the part where Wu completely missed the point? Where the CEO is under fire for dropping 7Million on a party with top shelf booze, while their company is on a long, downward slope, and all Wu got out of it was "Pregnant woman wants couch"?

edit: For reference, to explain better that the shitty Wu approved article

To be fair, I seriously doubt Wu has the mental capacity to read the entire article. She just skimmed it long enough to find a way to spin it to create outrage so people will pay attention to her.

While I don't agree with Yahoo's spending this kind of money when their performance is tanking, cutting the "Fun" budget isn't so easy either. Workers look at these sorts of events as part of workplace culture, and spending an extra 10K per top manager in the company if it makes them stay with a failing company instead of looking to leave has some reasoning behind it. It's a problem and suggests that they don't have more efficient means to make people happy internally, but its better than Giant Space Kat...

Brianna Wu is a college graduate and can not claim idiocy as a defense. She's a soulless conartist, not a misguided low-knowledge sort.

The truth is, Brianna Wu has had the choice of making these kinds of calls when GSK actually had a non-fictional staff. The article reveals the garish expense of the party--and its a poor trade off between keeping the workplace happy and keeping budgets in order.

Meanwhile, Brianna Wu promotes what she believes to be the key issue: An incompetent Female CEO under fire from those who expect results. Brianna Wu's workplace is her home, and her staff has openly been hostile to her after their dismissal and other treatment. Giant Space Kat has also burned ~400,000$ in cash to create, essentially, a one dimensional poorly designed quick time game that could have been made 20 years ago.

That Brianna Wu makes it about harassment based on gender out of a perceived common trait she shares with the CEO basically means that she still has no idea how to build a positive work environment or manage a budget. Of course, the first person to actually say this to her will be met with the non-word "Mansplain" or perhaps she'll burn the tweet and try some other stupid act. Eventually, though, she'll run out of other people's money, and might actually have to work for once in her life.

Just an idle thought: Wu lives in Boston, Fallout 4 let's you go through Boston, and there was a big shitstorm over a Nexus mod where a parody of Sarkeesian was turned into a picture replacer and got taken down for shit stirring or something.

If someone recreated Wu's house and Wu themselves ingame as close as possible to the IRL location's analogue ingame (even if it was as flattering as possible), would Wu consider that harassment and try to get it banned from the internet?

I know Moleman went ballistic over those mods of him, was wondering what Wu would do.

The Roaring 20s theme suggests an amazing lack of self-awareness and of tone-deafness as to what message that sent. It is throwing an opulent party as the company goes off a cliff, using a period in history that preceded just that.

It's the sort of thing Wu would do.

Well, except for the pregnancy. After all, Wu "decided" never to have kids.

Ok spergy time-- Yahoo both is and isnt in financial trouble. They own a huge chunk of Ali Baba, and that chunk is worth way more than what they're valued at. So they're not exactly on death's door, they're just in a super weird position.
