For some sort of twisted attempt at making a joke to garner attention? Why would they keep condoms in the Wu household?
Katherine Cross and Brianna Wu have a list of demands for us oppressive cis shitlords. I can't help but see the last point as the most pressing, gib money plox.
Note how Cross is described as trans, while Wu is left in neither confirm nor deny territory.
Well with a pitch like that, how could anyone fail to be persuaded?Katherine Cross and Brianna Wu have a list of demands for us oppressive cis shitlords. I can't help but see the last point as the most pressing, gib money plox.

But see, poison isn't "cis" in the modern games, she just doesn't mention it much because it doesn't rule her identity. When she actually does mention being trans in the games it's usually for the sake of a joke (like if she beats a girl character she'll say something about how she's "more of a woman" than who she was fighting). She's a really cool character who happens to be trans, and that's why she's popular. People like Wu or Julie of Gen Zed fame, however, believe that a character can't really be considered a legit trans character unless they wear their gender on their sleeve and base their entire identity around it, which basically just renders them into nothing more than a two-dimentional stereotype.Oh good grief, their points are bullshit, here's why:
1. “Let’s start off with the fact that we are people,” Cross said. “Everything just comes down to that. You can have a trans character without their trans identity being every beat of their narrative.”
Then why do they insist on EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAY YOU SHOULDN'T WHEN A TRANS CHARACTER EXISTS.
No seriously, they aren't happy unless they have games where you are constantly reminded if someone is gay or trans 24/7, and bitch if they don't exist, why the backpedaling?
2. The two talked Poison, the trans female character in Street Fighter represents the game industry “one step forward, two steps back” approach on trans issues. Poison is a good fighter and a memorable villain, but she’s also highly sexualized and has even had her trans identity erased altogether, being presented as a cisgender female in later appearances in other games.
“Your worth as a human being is if a cis male is going to objectify you as much as they would a ‘real’ woman,” Wu said. “Cisgender allies, you can do a hell of a lot of good by standing up to this.”
Again. Bullshit. Poison has conflicting trans explanations based on region due to a bad attempt to escape censorship, but the majority of Capcom fans go with the Japanese canon by default, and have these idiots even bothered to see why? They think Poison is hot as hell and over half the reason is because Poison is a sexy and COMPETENT trans woman. Yes, it's treating her like eye candy, but by the same token, she's presented as someone who flaunts her sexuality in canon and thus this isn't inappropriate characterization by the fandom at all. Also, have they seen all the art and doujinshi where Poison has a dick? Shit, Poison was the gateway to tons of tranny chasers, they should be damn grateful Poison was created. They also forgot Poison is a reformed villainess who has gone legit as a respected wrestling promoter, so she's currently a hero who began as a villain.
.....I don't have the patience to debunk the rest of their shit, but these idiots are both trannies and still sound like fools on this topic.

I can't fucking handle this tweet.
Okay, so Brianna/John is about forty years old, and considering her unhealthy lifestyle we can safely bet that she will die sooner than the average person. The life expectancy of someone living in America is about 79 years, but I'll be generous and only knock off about six years from that number. So that leaves mankind with about 33 years in which to go extinct.
Don't dogs do that cause they're being neglected?
Poison has no real canon sexuality. Capcom's left that up to the gamers.Oh good grief, their points are bullshit, here's why:

Someone I have a lot of respect for once commented that one of the hallmarks of stupid people is the inability to contextualize anything that doesn't directly pertain to them or their lives. Climate change is a huge problem we need to address now, but there's not really a huge apocalypse scenario that will occur in our lifetime to make it exciting. Thus, it's something we need to fix now, even though we're not the people it will ultimately screw. Wu can't contextualize this, so she decides to act as though "Day After Tomorrow" was a documentary. While worry about climate change isn't a foolish topic in itself, belief mankind will be killed in under a century by it does seem far fetched.
Don't dogs do that cause they're being neglected?
I know it's already been said but this post single handedly illustrates wu's willingness to talk on subjects she has no fucking clue on. Climate change might do in mankind eventually but the only way it's going to kill us off in our children's lifetimes is to indirectly nudge a more desperate mankind to nuclear war, climate change is more about extinctions due to changes in habitat and not being too fucked to successfully colonize space or sustain the population that tech would allow in 500 years because of stupid shit we did today. Given the rate which global energy consumption is increasing energy shortages and subsequent revolutions and resource wars are a more significant short term threat.Mankind will go extinct in your lifetime, eh? Way to exclude yourself from the human race there.
Most of the characters are sexualized especially the feminine ones. What would the reaction be if the trans character looked like a cross between bullrog and chun-li with m.bison's chin? Do trans people really want that? Do men want to play characters that look like skinnyfat pizza faces?Poison is a good fighter and a memorable villain, but she’s also highly sexualized and has even had her trans identity erased altogether, being presented as a cisgender female in later appearances in other games.
