Something like that. I can imagine wu using someone like that to badger complaint departments into banning her enemies or just to have available from time to time so that new suckers think she has employees.

"I don't think games are important", says DykesDykesChina whose adolescent whims have sometimes been catered to, sometimes not. Y'know, that's why they are games: A pasttime of no great consequence. Brianna and friends seem to think vidya are somehow the big issue of the 21st century, as if there weren't issues, like, say, establishing world peace, abolishing poverty, finding cures for cancer and AIDS, taking humanity into space, etc.
 
That's odd. Most of the artists and developers I know put off playing video games until they finish their work. They certainly don't have the time to play at least one game to completion (Tomb Raider) and put significant time into another. Especially during crunch time when their product is already behind schedule and missing deadlines. And if that product is a labor of love, something they held dear to their heart, you couldn't pry them away from it.
 
According to Wu, Final Fantasy VIII was so kickass something in Wu's game was an homage to it.

As someone who enjoyed FF8 despite its flaws, I'm not gonna give Wu too much shit over this, since Triple Triad was so fun someone made a PC clone that you can lose hours on alone, the Junction system made for a nice bit of meta gaming for the spergy types who enjoy juggling statistics, and it was the first Final Fantasy that really tried to show off some outstandingly beautiful graphics (based on the Parasite Eve engine, which was stunning in its own right), which only makes Wu's game look like crap in retrospect, because FF8 really tried to look awesome on the PS1 and succeeded while Wu has better hardware and R60 looks incredibly dated for it's time.

As for why Wu's an idiot, FF8 had a mega shoehorned backstory for the characters and the love story was pretty forced.

You either like/love FF8 or you hate it. FF8 had the bad fortune of following the previous game in the series which everyone unequivocally loved. Its easily the most hated besides FF13, FF13's hate being exacerbated by being a "fresher" title and the sequels that no one asked for (13-2 was bad though).

FF8 was one of those games that you could min/max everything if you grinded hard enough. The one big flaw that stands out is that ultimately theres nothing that separates the characters other than limit breaks. Over all its pretty solid but there are people who can not hate that game enough.

Shipping delays are VERY expensive to GSX. Wu is finishing Fallout 4 as fast as she can, so she can get back to making her own game. That's her respect for her customers, she's binge gaming titles like Fallout 4 and Tomb Raider so she can improve Rev 60 even more... She hopes to finish Fallout 4 next week. IF PEOPLE STOP CALLING HER, lol
