Ok, total non-sequitur, but....

Check out the top left shelf. Figure bases. Dust much? Fingerprints? Then you look around....

Dust everywhere. Wu is tall. This dust is THICK. Chose to be photo'ed in front of it.

DIRTY. LAZY. FUCK.

I can't be the only one who finds the Junko Enoshima figure hilarious as fuck, right?

Yes, because this level of dust takes serious time, as has been pointed out. For real, I would make my MIL ill with this level of dust. She would be hospitalized. When she visits we clean the house to the ceiling; in the living room that is ten feet with a vaulted ceiling.

I wonder, from psychological POV, if this is indicative of Wu's lack of hygiene and femininity? (Make-up, bitch. A professional applied it to you. Ask outright, "how do I do this?!") Admittedly, as a natural born woman, I have not mastered the smokey eye, but I don't think my minimal makeup detracts from anything. (Please, point out my flaws so I can correct them accordingly!) In Wu's case she NEEDS makeup. It is okay for a woman to accept that. Besides my board of directors I predominately deal with women. We all acknowledge aging, ect. This makes me think if Wu had real female friends her face would show it.

Frank is all she has. Does this speak to Wu, Frank, or both since wiki posts being written? I am curious.

It gets sadder when you realize the only reason there are even fingerprints is probably because Wu moved the statues to face the camera for these shots. So Wu was aware of the dust and was like "Nah, we're still good. Let's do this downward angle shit. Wait, let me get my stomach belt."

"We need to get the best angle on these figurines! I want all of them in the picture, so everyone can see what a cool gamer-girl I am. Get on that chair and take the picture from up there!"
"Shouldn't we dust them off? It looks like you don't give a fuck about them."
"Nah, nobody will notice."

I know where that dust comes from.

I've seen dust like that only twice. Dust never gets to that depth on its own. The only time I've ever seen that kind of caked on grit is after either:

1. Literal years of disuse. Dust in the Vanderbilt Museum's unused wards got this bad after a while, but it took almost a decade. Several of Wu's statuettes include FFXIII characters, including several releases less than 3 years old. No way that much dust occurred in that much time.

2. When my ceiling collapsed in my bedroom of my old house due to weather damage, the grit and dust from the rotting drywall sprayed out approximately this level of dust.

Which do you think, Kiwis?

What's with the glasses? Does she actually need them, or does she just think they make her look smart?

Well, it could be that they had some renovations going - it looks pretty much like sawdust. Perhaps they added a new door and pushed the shelves together at an angle to have some space. Wu thought that it would be nice to take a quick photo right between them, but didn't bother to dust off the shelves in that moment.

Wu is pushing 40 or already 40. They are probably reading glasses.

Beyond that, there's an actual Revolution 60 figure in there, which I can't find any mentions of before April 2015.
I'm willing to bet the dust is from all that free paint stripping and asbestos remediation Brianna and Frank were doing to live rent-free in their relatives' house, remember that? So it's probably not due to some absurd level of slovenliness per se.

But in this picture I noticed she's stepping on some random candy wrapper she left lying around XD

Ok, now I'm just flat out confused - I am now engaging toy collecting sperg mode to explain why I'm pointing out three specific figures that shouldn't be there.

First off, the big pink horse to the right of Wu's head. The pink coloration indicates that this is the big electronic Princess Celestia toy released back in 2010, which says such intelligent things like "My wings are so pretty!" and "Let's fly to the castle!" because it's a girl's toy. The date is significant, though, because as the first version, Wu inexplicably bought only that pony toy for some undefinable reason - and it wasn't because it was the only Celestia toy ever made, a color-correct white version was released one or two years ago. So with there being no relation to the character Celestia...what the ever loving hell made Wu decide to spontaneously buy one of the biggest examples of the MLP toyline being diehard loyal to the stereotypes of old where girls toys are brainless and pink?

But then the second toy of note is none other than the one pony toy of Sunset Shimmer, to the left of Celestia, who is even more mystifying because that character existed only to be the main antagonist of the Equestria Girls film (meaning we can now confirm Wu watched Equestria Girls). For that whole film, based on what the relevant wiki says, Sunset Shimmer was a completely ruthless alpha bitch the whole time and is only "redeemed" in the last five minutes she's even in the film (there's apparently 15 minutes between this and the actual ending of the film). The only reason I can think of why Wu would want Sunset Shimmer's pony toy, given how Equestria Girls is basically Hasbro's answer to Monster High so you can figure out what toy she's usually taking the form of, is...something involving seeing a part of herself in Sunset's non-character. Yeah.

Finally, I don't even know where to begin on the last one, but the "blindbag" size Twilight Sparkle is hanging out with those tiny FF characters on the right side middle shelf. On top of that, it's almost like Wu was trying to "hide" Twilight, which seems utterly against the idea of having Celestia and Sunset promimently displayed together on the top shelf.

To that end, I have to ask: has Wu ever acknowledged MLP's current incarnation cartoon in any tweets? Because it just seems so out of left field here. End toy collecting sperg mode.

The dust is kinda yellow/brownish. Someone must smoke a lot in there.

We did see what looked like a box of cigarettes in a previous picture, the "hotel selfie" IIRC. Wouldn't surprise me if Wu was a heavy smoker - it's not like most of their home life is spent in that exact room anyway and they probably burn through several packs a day. Multiply by a few years and it's likely a good portion of that dust was Wu generated.

Well, it could be that they had some renovations going - it looks pretty much like sawdust. Perhaps they added a new door and pushed the shelves together at an angle to have some space. Wu thought that it would be nice to take a quick photo right between them, but didn't bother to dust off the shelves in that moment.

I doubt there is ongoing renevations, no way Wu wouldn't have tweeted about it as some bullshit like "improving the room where the magic happens!" or some garbage of the like. Plus, leaving the shelves in there during renovations wouldn't be possible anyway - the workers would insist on their removal in order to give them maximum working room.

No, I think we've seen that figure before. Top shelf in the white cabinet:
rathe_gamingthreats_g02.jpg

Article I nabbed this from is dated Oct. 30th, 2014 so unless there's a different R60 figurine elsewhere, that has to be the exact same Holiday statue which is partially seen in the Shelves of Dust. Might be the same books in these pictures, too.

Also, side note: in copying this picture over, I noticed the right most screen has a window open to a list of pictures. Unless I'm mistaken, nobody's followed up on this strange detail even though none of those pictures - viewed in closeup - have anything to do with the supposed render work on the other two monitors.

EDIT 2: HOLY SHIT. I think the fact theses pictures are in extremely high quality - no doubt because Wu wanted to make themselves look good - that dresser when zoomed in has a SHITLOAD of interesting things. Portal 2 Bookends, probably the only two books on the Unreal Engine Wu has ever owned, a bottle of what I'm guessing is hand sanatizer...and on the far right what looks like something pony related as at maximum zoom I can just make out the stock vector of Rarity next to some pony building. I actually have no idea what the hell this thing could be, but something tells me the Wu - pony connection may be worth looking into.

Wu hyped for female link. I guess the equality is good in a sense that you can pick the character that you like but personally I don't give a fuck if I play as a woman or a guy. Male Samus aran just sounds weird.

So will Wu offer male characters for revolution 60? For equality I demand male characters. Here is concept art that will please me:

There is a old joke between the Figurefags "If you buy Final fantasy figures and you claim to be a video game expert is like you are buying Black rock shooter figures and claiming to be a anime expert", is just pretending because "no one knows this character so if i buy it im a expert", when in reality if only show how much of a scrub you are

also for some reason john has two versions of Squall, and several of Final fantasy X-2 where sexy girls are the main protagonist

John as a very strange obsession for women's, everything he says is "womens womens womens womens womens", i would not be surprised if he declare himself a lesbian

I think it's more about Brianna constantly needing to validate her status as a woman. For someone who has repeatedly said that trans women are women, she seems really insecure about being trans.

I....can't disagree with this. Not at all.

Wu, you seem to be pretty sincere about this. Again, props to you for having some innate decency.
I'm waiting for her to use it a couple of days from now for her personal politics.
