This is one of my favorite wu quotes it's so out of touch that it absolutely blows my mind:
"More of my person was made from growing up spoiled and feeling entitled to the good life than a through learning or overcoming adversity" Then there is her failure to even complete what for most people along her aspirations would be their first and least significant major life accomplishment.

That would explain the recent "Yale students going nuts".

My guesses:
- "Saving" Brianna by helping her through the transition appealed to his inner white knight
- As a Ph.D in a technical profession he feels like his perfect romantic match is a genius. Brianna constantly presents herself as one and Frank is too socially inept to see through it.
- It could just be as simple as him wanting someone who's "one of the guys" in terms of interests. Brianna is after all pretty much a Silicon Valley dudebro at heart.
- Or yes, it could be some weird fetish for transsexuals, tall women, being cucked, or whatever else.
I'd put my money on the last option, it seems to me he's submissive and likes being dominated by a tall crabby person.

It's funny, when I worked at my college newspaper we had almost the exact same occurance. Creepy, probably autistic guy who's bad at writing, but wants a job at the paper writing weird, way too specific articles about things nobody cares about. He wouldn't get the hint, demanded ever-increasing amounts of our time, and would freak out when things didn't go his way. This led to him being officially banned from the newsroom, and a new policy where the door would be locked after 4 pm and the only way to get in is with a key or calling someone inside. We even had a situation where our editor had to call someone to save them from a conversation with the guy.

That awful ballsack haircut on Holiday being featured in every one of John's outlets is another weird character trait. It seems a lot like something he probably imagined at a much younger age, decided it was great, and kept the childish dream going into adulthood wherein he tries to insert it anywhere he can, like the guy from Kevin Smith's hilarious giant spider story.

I like any point that uses Kevin Smith quotes. Off topic, but you should watch the full documentary "The Death of Superman Lives: What Really Happened" for interviews with Kevin, and everyone involved including the Spider obsessed producer. They basically shit on the guy for the entire movie.

2 years and millions of dollars of development for absolutely nothing. I just made this post relevant to Wu.

I thought this was sawdust or something, because to get your average shelf-dust that yellow, you either need to stop dusting all together or smoke like three packs a day.
