I wonder if any of Wu's asspatters have ever played her game before. I mean the sales say otherwise, but still do you think anyone who supports her has actually played her game and said "yes, this game is amazing, it's so well put together and compelling I have to back this." Could anybody have tastes that bland?

Hey Johhny, why dontcha ask the deveoplers of Sunset how loyal and profitable that niche of customers are?

SJWs don't buy games and mostly don't spend much money. Mostly because they don't have any money really.

I can't name 1 successful SJW driven business.

I wonder if it'll ever sink in on John that he's literally the biggest voice out there calling women casual gamer's. No one else says women are too dumb to understand anything more complex then touchscreen swipes or typing words, no one else says games "need to be more emotional" to have any appeal for women, and no one else tries to declare Peggle a competitive sport so they can call themselves a hardcore gamer.

The BBC.

Then again, they get their funding from the TV licence payers and the British Government...

Also they were built on entertaining and educating programs, the SJWs just sort of infiltrated it.

So, this popped up in the Gamergate thread, but there's a reason that Wu's so pissy right now towards Brietbart.

Recently, a chatlog leaked, regarding the "women in tech" movement and how they are currently trying to honeytrap high-level men in tech in order to force establish a beachhead in the developer pit. This bit of horror was elaborated on by Eric Raymond, who explained it thus:

Eric Raymond dijo:
I received a disturbing warning today from a source I trust.

The short version is: if you are any kind of open-source leader or senior figure who is male, do not be alone with any female, ever, at a technical conference. Try to avoid even being alone, ever, because there is a chance that a “women in tech” advocacy group is going to try to collect your scalp.

IRC conversation, portions redacted to protect my informant, follows.

Eric Raymond dijo:
An A&D regular who is not myself was present for this conversation, but I’ll let him choose whether to confirm his presence and the content.

“They have made multiple runs at him.” Just let the implications of that sink in for a bit. If my source is to be believed (and I have found him both well-informed and completely trustworthy in the past) this was not a series of misunderstandings, it was a deliberately planned and persistent campaign to frame Linus and feed him to an outrage mob.

I have to see it as an an attempt to smear and de-legitimize the Linux community (and, by extension, the entire open-source community) in order to render it politically pliable.

Linus hasn’t spoken out about this; I can think of several plausible and good reasons for that. And the Ada Initiative shut down earlier this year. Nevertheless, this report is consistent with reports of SJW dezinformatsiya tactics from elsewhere and I think it would be safest to assume that they are being replicated by other women-in-tech groups.

(Don’t like that, ladies? Tough. You were just fine with collective guilt when the shoe was on the other foot. Enjoy your turn!)

I’m going to take my source’s implied advice. And view “sexual assault” claims fitting this MO with extreme skepticism in the future.

So this paints an ugly picture for the "Listen and Believe Women in Tech" group which Wu so clearly represents. She's also, humorously enough, a great microcosm of it, because she has no fucking credentials whatsoever and yet is demanding to be treated as an authority. But let's set that aside a moment - what does this have to do with Breitbart?

Breitbart Tech was one of the first tech groups to cover this leak.

Has anyone posted this article yet? : http://www.inc.com/david-whitford/gamergate-women.html
Its a standard fluff piece about Wu being a brave feminist etc, but it includes the 'big project' Wu's been talking about lately :
She says her company will soon release a new version of Revolution 60, a shoot-'em-up set in outer space, and is seeking $25 million in funding to develop software that will help computers know when we're happy, frustrated, or sad.

Relevent tweets :

Wu has seen the light and realized Revolution62 isn't going to happen (or maybe some of that $25 million is going to 'accidentally' end up funding it) and wants to move into an area actual experts have been working on and struggling with for decades. Or it could be Wu's next sympathy ploy, going on the talk circuits crying about investors discriminating against brave harassed women in tech.

Gee, is John lying again? How rare.

There are at least eight Macs faster than his (64-bit multi-core score), for starters. A lot of new or more rare configurations aren't listed because enough machines haven't submitted scores.

Nor is his "drastically" faster than slower ones. It's only 7-27% faster than the ten next fastest machines.

You can get a brand-new iMac with a quad-core i7 processor and a gorgeous 27-inch 5K Retina display for $2,300 and it runs just as fast as John's machine.

Dude lies about everything, and lies big. Doesn't care how easy it is to prove, either. John is straight-up mentally ill.

The only thing cooking is that goddamn computer - when that vine loops, you can see the CPU usage SPIKE to 100% and there are two suspended processes visible (blue text) in the top inner window.

Additionally, judging from that background (since it's obvious from the window headers this is a Windows OS), it looks like Wu is bragging about a Mac with a stupid-powerful 8-core processor...running Windows 10. Why the fuck would somebody put Windows 10 on a goddamn Mac?

Rev 60 will dig through your browsing history, if you visit PROBLEMATIC websites, John will set your computer ablaze with poor optimization.

What the fuck are you talking about, Wu? "Price Sensitive"? The AAA audience has games anywhere from $60-120 dollars in price. "Dramatically less development costs" To make something really innovative, you need to put in the time and money to make it. Rev60 is in no way innovative or niche. There are tons of games like Rev60 that have the same "tap-to-win" aspect, but are better than Rev60. Those games find ways to use the "tap-to-win" formula creatively, Angry Bird has you slide to shoot at the pigs, Crossy Road makes you think by having you time your taps and directions, and even the infamous Flappy Bird had "TAP TO NOT DIE". Rev60? It's just slide this bar to cause [x] to [x]. It's like regular video game QTES, except there is no time limit, and nothing will change if you don't slide it. There may be dialogue choices, but at the end, there are only two choices to lead to two default endings, making every previous dialogue choice pointless.
