Born in El Paso, Texas, Caldwell graduated from Stanford University in 2003 with a B.S. in Symbolic Systems and a B.A. in Psychology.[2]

Tldr he has a BS from stanford and successfully launched and sold at least one startup already and has extensive experience working at social media companies and at least a 12 year long career in tech. If only he had dropped out of a no name school and failed an animation studio... then'd be able to get by on something other than his total dudebro looks right wu?

This will burn particularly hard for Wu because every single one of her Mac tech news circle buddies gave Dalton like $60 to pre-reserve their usernames on his Twitter clone but I bet when the next GSK funding drive comes around for her VR whatever that will change everything then they'll be nowhere to be seen.

Some verified guy named onison said if we ignore race and just are who we are then we can't be racist. This is of course fucking retarded so then wu tried to be clever and show how stupid it was by saying if we don't go to doctors we can't be sick.

I guess if you make naive commentary on social issues it's ok to mock you if you're a white man but it's painful and unsupportive for women to do it to each other.

But isn't ignoring race and treating everyone as equals the exact opposite of racism? I guess it would piss Wu off since it contradicts her whole "use your white superiority to help out the inferior minorities" brand of activism.

If I knew wu and she had nice things to say about any group of people it might give me a prejudice against them. I don't think that we can fix racism by just deciding everyone is the same, it's ok for there to be all different kinds of people.

Well its the Equality of Outcome vs Equality of Opportunity argument again.
If we treat everyone like they're all equally capable of success regardless of race, gender or sexuality then the negative aspects of racism are basically gone. We can still acknowledge that we're different because we are and its stupid to pretend we're not.
However, Wu and her branch of SJW Feminism don't want that, they want equality of outcome. Where success is guaranteed regardless of "qualification". This can only be achieved by forcing other people to give up what they have earned first, such as all those straight white men who dared to study technology and work hard to succeed.

I think that's only because their bread and butter is finding inequality and then writing fluff pieces and giving speeches on it as this particular issue's "expert". Instead of trying to bring their nerd cred into depute like they say people will. Try and bring their Women in Tech cred into dispute. Wu isn't the first WoT "expert" who couldn't explain why grace murray hopper was important, though it was hilarious when she managed to show her ignorance while speaking at an event named after the woman.

They just want equal outcomes because equal opportunity requires a deep understanding of the problem and it's hard and that's not what they're doing. If you understand tech enough to address the issue of opportunity you'll go get a real job in tech instead of being a fulltime social justice advocate for the field.

I don't know, but I do know that it's generally wise to avoid anyone who starts discussing the purity or superiority of their race.
I swear, Brianna is some kind of earthly avatar of the Horseshoe Theory Gods.

As Rachel pointed out, Wu is trying to purge whiteness by accusing other white people of being white.
 
Does Onision still have rabid fangirls? I'd love to see Wu try and defend herself from real, unadulterated teen girl angst... They can be particularly vicious little snots.
