I speculate that wu is talking about VR or emotional AI either being baked into the processor or a coprocessor. I'm not an expert in this sort of math but it's hard to say what kind of changes you could make to a modern computer to make it more adept at doing this sort of work that's not already there.
It's also extremely pompous of wu to think she has anything worthwhile to contribute to a desktop processor die without at the very least an autistic understanding of advanced mathematics, and maybe some experience, and knowledge of VHDL which I doubt she could acquire in even triple the amount of time that it's been since she's shifted priorities.
Just getting a bunch of chips printed would be like a million dollars.

As it stands right now taking a game that's done in most modern versions of direct X and making it 3d for oculus just requires installing the $30 tridef driver

and I'm sure there is another HID driver to map the head tracking to a joystick or mouse, you can use your pc to play most of the games from the n64, to the ps2 and ps2 in 3d even though it was never intended, as long as there is a directx 9 or higher emulator .

It's a project with troubled development for nearly ten years at this point that has not a month ago pointed out a major female character in the game, will have at least one female Eidolon who will be a major boss, and was supposed to involve Etro until it could no longer be a part of Fabula Nova Crystallis.

It's also trying to tell a fucking story about an all-male road trip with your dad the car, which isn't common in RPGs.

Besides, pretty sure you kill some female Garulas too, but you don't hear her bringing that up.

What's even more hilarious is today has been one long sequence of Wu getting his nose bloody pretty much on his own, and his white knights can't really help since he's chosen to battle no shit feminists who've been doing this crap since before Wu sliced off his cock.

It's even worse how much he's trying to dodge the issue of R60. He passed the deadline and is so obviously trying to make people forget that releasing it now would basically be admitting he fucked up.

In short, asshole is in a hell of his own making and watching him writhe in agony is getting hilarious.

Gotta admit, it has been interesting watching her becoming increasingly manic as time goes by, but I worry it's kinda wrapping up. I always find people tend to double down on the delusional thinking the closer they are to ruin. As the point approaches where even her supporters are going to start asking where the game is, we've watched her become even more antagonistic than usual, make wild claims about some unspecified game-changer she's going to build with million of dollars, and just gradually lose that edge she used to have.
Take a look back to the Brianna Wu of a year ago and compare. Where's that defiance? Where's the smug condescension? I remember a girl (kinda) who spat how this was her culture, not ours, and she'd take it by force.
Now we have a bitter, paranoid misanthrope with a failed game and a Napoleon complex. She's still got some entertainment left in her, but I worry the fun is nearing the climax.

Agreed, but it's become less funny and more depressing. There's no more "THIS GOOBERGOBBER IS TRYING TO ASSASSINATE ME!!!". There's no more calls for squads of supporters who "can thrown down" to protect her at cons like some sort of fedora-wearing strike force.
Now it's just her thinking that anyone who asks her any question is trying to discredit or destroy her. Less of that hysterical freakout paranoia and more of that "quietly suspicious and hateful towards everyone" paranoia.

Is there any software for tracking when people are most active on twitter. I googled for it but if it exists it's lost in a sea of other twitter metrics shit and with wu the best app would be just tracking her tweet times.

I'm not bothering to make a sign in for twitter just to grab a payload but if someone would there might be some interesting information in the payload like geotags and other bullshit. I think you might be able to get a full feed too and if you give me that I'll process the data for you and we can maybe get a nice idea of when, why, and where she tweets from.

Well she's burned so many people, made an ass out of herself so many times, and inadvertently shown herself to be a fraud to so many industry people by this point I wouldn't be at all surprised if most of the attention she gets now is just people curious to see how she makes an ass of herself next.

Think of the people who gave her money, the people who published her bs in major media outlets in good faith, the embarrassed college professors, puzzled students, and all the associated people who lent her their connections to make that all happen.

Think of all her people in anti-gg who she got into conflict with before managing to lose moderator status and get banned from most of those places.

Wu's rise is totally dependent on who she knows, and she knows it. She's "good at politics" by her own admission. Her power, her money, pretty much everything she has is dependent on a long con somewhere or another. I doubt she really thinks of it as a con at all though, it's not totally different from what a lot of healthy useful people do in business, ask friends for loans, ask friends for advice, ask friends to give you a hand.

So now she has all these people curiously watching to see what happens next.

That's a good point, this conversation made me reflect and I started to think that, really, Brianna's been degenerating this whole time. It's been slow and gradual and really sort of hard to notice until it's all right in front of you in sequence. So much of her behaviors have stayed the same in spite of her decline, at least in my opinion. Her delusions and general dysfunction were always a part of her MO, but it seems more noticeable now. There are a lot more cracks now than there were roughly a year ago.
