"Natalie" has three functions:
- to make John look like he's running a company instead of sitting home alone slacking off while his husband works to bring home the bacon
- to help scam people out of money on Patreon ("every dime goes to Natalie and her poor, helpless baby, so Natalie can bravely protect me from the murderous, rapey hordes while I heroically save the universe")
- to be a scapegoat when John makes an ass of himself to "the press" via Twitter

Wu's life is absolutely absurd when you observe it from the right angles. A 40 year old man surrounded by toys, gadgets, and games who is trying to make their sonichu into a global media empire. Getting wasted and pretending to run a company all day. Waving their hands in the air when new report buttons appear on the internet to abuse.
AND FOR A YEAR THEY WERE ABLE TO MILK THAT FOR CASH.
She's hilarious on her own but the best part isn't wu, the best part is she's able to dupe all these people, she's a not just a lolcow, she's a lolcow breeder. Every single person involved with her is a laughing stock even if they weren't before. If you fall for wu, you're the joke now.
It was kind of scary when it looked like somehow she was going to pull it off but now it's just hilarious. I hope they make a real movie about her in like 10 years.

It's a bit hard to tell from the thumbnail, but it looks like the coloring book page for Wu hides her face behind her hair. Even the people making the book know children wouldn't see that face and say "Yeah, that's totally a lady!"
