This is from last month, probably the live show Wu's talking about.

Wu probably is going to attend WWDC though. John is a apple addict above all else and this tweet was from exactly a month ago, if that's when the lottery ended the timing fits. Wu's crappy little show (or game) isn't WWDC material, but I can't imagine any of the other events on actually interest him enough to be worth a trip.

Yeah, all software engineers think about that sort of stuff while they're coding.

No wonder your game won't compile.
In my experience the most common thought you have while coding is: "Why isn't this working?!" followed a while later by a "Of course, I am such an idiot!".

Also, I don't think Pennywise would ask Wu to "float" with him, he would tell her that the town of Derry isn't big enough for two eldritch horrors.

Podcasting seems like a better hobby for Wu. Doesn't burn through Frank's money and she can lie about how popular it is. The problem with releasing on Steam for her is that we all get to see how few copies actually sell. Tough to claim to be successful at something when everyone can see you're not.

I also want this photo of Brianna Wu to show up higher when people search her name.

AltConf 2016 is another conference that runs alongside WWDC. Apple has actually slapped AltConf around in the past over its attempts to piggyback on WWDC, including plans to stream content from WWDC.

I suspect that Flunt/Wu is attending AltConf while claiming to be attending WWDC, much like he claimed he was making a major presentation at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa when he was actually scheduled to speak in front of ten bisexual hillbillies at the academically insignificant University of North Alabama in the jerkwater burg of Florence.

Última edición:
Fucking what? What could she possibly be stuck on in regards to leveling in that game? There's no fight that's particularly hard in the 1-50 or 1-60 level grind, and powerleveling is only viable to maaaaybe level 20 or so.
Stuck on the part where money doesn't buy levels and gear.

And while you worry about that john, i'm wondering if a floating point var is the most appropriate for what i'm using it for.

It's the difference between failure and success.

Edit: It's also worrying that John has only just learned what a floating point variable is. Understanding variables is a basic transferable skill of any programmer, no matter what language they use.

Considering she seemed to cheat in her FF playthrough, gets the same clan to carry her through Destiny and Overwatch, and has paid thousands to win mobile app games makes me assume she's just lazy and is too impatient for most forms of grinding. I expect Feminist Warcult or whatever will quickly get copies of FF14 to carry her.

You could NEVER tell that's not a natural born woman.

But remember that white men are keeping EVERYONE down.

You don't have to worry about a thing, John.

"Look at how smart I am!"
Then come on down here over at the Kiwi Farms and talk about your entire life story, John.

Here's the thing - John barely knows shit about coding. He just piggybacked off his team of Craigslist hires.

I can confirm that- FFXIV is grindy, but it's not actually that difficult to level to pretty much max just by doing all the quests you run into and occasional group dungeons/random crafting runs. You can do this pretty much solo (apart from the dungeons, obviously, but there's a matchmaking system for that), therefore zero need to get someone to powerlevel you.
Lazy, lazy john..

The John Flynt account on Disqus is my favorite. Truly a national treasure.

Funny story about that....

Purely out of morbid curiousity, and eager to see Brianna Wu "in the wild," I contacted a friend of mine who has been following FWC for a while (it was his belief that FWC might constitute a case of a Lolcow Cult or possibly community watch material). Ultimately his findings on FWC were sadly non-productive (it's basically a clan of beta orbiters), but they did have a run-in with Brianna and made several observances of her behaviors, circa overwatch.

Wu is a terrible player. We knew that much.

But it actually goes beyond this; Wu actively tries to restrict access to herself online. In MMOs, she will not interact with anyone who is not one of her own or a potential backchannel. If at all possible, she will not even play on a mode or server that "the rabble" will be able to access her at. Her FWC buddies will constantly run interference for her; anyone with any real interest in Wu-sempai is immediately questioned aggressively, and anyone who dares besmirch Wu's skills and complete incapacity to get shit done courts an inquisition. According to our informant, FWC actually will kick you out if you post stream footage of their members without permission of the users involved.

FWC is acutely aware they are trollshielding not only Wu, but several others like her, and they will not allow violations of the safe space.

This plays into why Wu never livestreams, never posts actual screengrab when she doesn't have an absolutely dominating advantage, and will never cite facts that show she has any real veterancy with video games as a whole: Wu is not a gamer at all - not in the sense that she doesn't like video games, but in that she's pathologically unable to put in the time for basic competence. She doesn't have to - that's what pay-to-win and her FWC buddies are for.

If you think that I was ever joking about Wu being a worse player than Jay, remember that the Farms actually got Jay to game publicly and were generally what made his streams watchable (his MVM ones in particular).
