I swear Jaimas between this and the Naylor game you are great at writing furry fanfiction. More proof that youre a furry.

The only thing I'm good at involving furries is terrible jokes about them.

More importantly, I didn't write that. The audio is Lane's Text-to-Speech Adventure, which is a Kiwi Farms classic.

It's a favorite of @Dollars2009 and was a feature of this thread.

Grats on unintentionally doing the "Wake me up" meme

I don't want to GIF that.

But part of me really wants to.

Where's the game John?? It's been a week since Overwatch was released.
I'm about 75% sure she's creating a supply of fake Twitter accounts, abusive emails, maybe a threatening video or two she can bust out when she finally releases the game. That way she can make herself look relevant again and hopefully attract a fresh wave of supporters.

I'm 25% sure she's just taking a break from pretending to be a game developer so she can more completely devote her time to shilling hipster products, giving her uneducated opinion on things and playing pay-to-win games.

This wouldn't surprise me, but I think at this point she's manage to wreck any real semblance of credibility she may have initially had. She's managed to get herself quietly alienated by the more accepted people in the SJW movement, and the only press she gets is from journalists who are bad at doing a basic google search before quoting her (and if they read their comment sections/twitter/facebook they quickly get disabused). Notice how she never does a second interview anywhere?

She may be able to stir up a little more controversy on release with a false flag campaign, but for the most part nobody cares anymore (aside from us, we'll miss the lols), so it will quickly fade.

This is the way the Revolution 60 story ends
Not with a bang but a whimper

What if she released the game and there was the deafening sound of crickets? She can't have that. She needs her harassers or else there's no reason to talk about her. I'm sure she's setting up some Twitter eggs in advance.

And that is Brianna's real fear. In the end there were no hordes of gators out to get her. No race war vans on their way. No conspiracy to ruin her creation. She was neither hated nor loved. Feared nor respected.

She was alone. Screaming into a void.

Maybe but what is the point? John is not doing another game that is a fact, once Revolution 60 is out , thats it, his story in the industry end because nothing else will come out from Giant Spacekat, his woman in tech spin end because people will see that he is not going to produce anything else, even his utility as a attack dog for the SJW doesn't exist anymore, he even lost the ability to ban people on a whim on twitter

you can dance and hide all you want john, is not my reputation (and patreon but i dont have one) that is at risk

In 2 days im going to celebrate the first month of the re-uploading of R60 to steam, yep re uploading because the special ed (sped) edition doesn't exist and the game is not on steam, you can show all you want the pic of the approval of the store, until is not on sale it doesnt exist

And also John, the reason you did not put the game in "Coming soon" state is because when the page is up, the forums are up too, and you failed to create backchannels on steam, no one is going to save you when the day comes

Oh yeah, there's definitely fake accounts being created. Once the game is released (if it's actually released), we need to be diligent and check reg dates for all the "harassers" on Twitter.

BREAKING NEWS: John Flynt has suspended working on Rev60 indefinitely, will abscond with dumbasses' money!

This actually is exactly what she's going to do.
We've seen for some time that Wu has abso-fucking-lutely zero interest in making video games. She has zero interest in making anything. The one thing that we have ever seen her put any real effort into has been this goofball podcast, because that is her real passion. She likes to talk. There's no inherent shame in this, lots of people just want to sit around and bullshit into a mic for a living, but I've had a sneaking suspicion for awhile that the end goal here is to make this RocketFM thing a viable career.
Say what you will, but some part of her knows she has no future in the tech industry, and she's aware that Rev60 is a dead end. Trying to make the jump into being a commentator is strategically the best move now, and it's the first thing she's tried that she's actually qualified to do.
Over the last few weeks, we've even seen her begin slinging merch for the show. The gaming scene has run dry, so she's trying to really get into the hipster tech broadcast scene.
Because that's not a tapped well at all.

The problem with that is that Wu will absolutely never reach a broad audience with it.

All of the podcasts (Rocket, Isometric and Disrution) are glorified knitting circles with all the gossipping and inane blah blah one would expect. Every single one of those shows I listened to or tried listening to are incredibly uninteresting, there is very little informed debate, especially from Wu, who, at best delegates who is talking and interjects with "funny haha" jokes or stories and sometimes tries to piece together a few sentences when asked a direct question about whatever the subject of the show is.

And the chances of Wu using the podcasts as a sort of opportunity to land a sweet gig at a real tech site as a commentator are slim. Wu's marked and everywhere that voice pops up, people will recognize who is talking and what their past is. And if they don't know Wu they will look up the name and find a lot of incredibly unflattering info. No publication that wants to be taken seriously will hire Wu just for that alone, nevermind that everything that falls out of that ungodly mouth is usually wrong.

All Wu is good for is for getting a few quotes when nobody else is available.

This forever. I have a couple of buddies who do a similar thing and they know exactly what they're doing: it's basically them discussing thing that they're interested in and playing music that they like, and they have no illusions of reaching an audience any broader than the people they already know. In other words, it's for fun.

John seems to think that it will make him an industry household name.

hahaha no.gif
