What a crock of shit. That's like saying Roy Cohn did a huge amount to advance gay rights even though he spent his entire career ruining people's lives for being gay as part of Joe McCarthy's machine. But hey, he was gay at a high level of government so he must have done a lot.

Or like saying Brianna Wu has done a lot for women's rights by being a man in a dress.
