I one of my IGN dumps, I found that she said you can claim your Macbook purchases as completely tax deductible if you have a business entity. She also resisted the idea that you have to claim the sale of the used Macbook when you upgrade as a profit.

That's not how the law works. You have to separate personal use from professional use. Flynt would argue that everything she does is "professional," though.

It depends. If you are a freelancer or self employed (and have a business entity) stuff like a new computer, desk, chair, books, online courses, programs, etc could all be business expenses. There are some places where you can also, up to a certain percentage, classify part of your apartment as your work area and get a tax break on rent based on that. You need to keep all your receipts and be able to prove that these things were used for your business. So if you're a painter, you can prove that all your paints are a business expense because duh, you paint. Buying a brand new bed? Not so much. I know friends who near the end of the tax year will blow their extra money on art books and claim those as business expenses, or upgrades that they wanted.

Chessboard Holdings, LLC has it's location listed as her home so I imagine she might get some kind of tax break from that. Although I still have no idea if they own the house or they're renting it from Frank's relatives. I still find it bizarre that Wu has put effort into making it seem like Giant Spacekat Studios and her house are two separate places. "Effort" as in purposely saying on Twitter that she's about to drive home from her studio. Wu really is a compulsive liar which makes me even more curious about what she claims on her taxes.

Legally (for tax purposes) they might actually be considered separate parts of the house. It's really common for freelancers, especially in art and games, to do it that way aka the living room is the office while everything else is your home. You can also rent studio space from buildings on short or long term contracts. Hell, she could just be driving to a starbucks to sit in the corner.

Lauren lives on!

I wonder how long a Liquid Flynt account would last? If it never actually interacts with Wu and just posts SOCCON stuff, surely that wouldn't be grounds for a banning...would it?

Based on evidence I don't wish to discuss (so you ought to be a bit skeptical), using Election Eve properties will get you flagged.

I hope you are prepared for a fight. If you are doing this fight, make sure you have a valid email address (and phone number?) on the account so you can find out why you were flagged.

Can you fish that one out for me?

Here it is: https://archive.is/XTBqC

I now see she does separate her business computer from her personal one. I still wonder how she handles the sale.

When my DNWarLibrary account was suspended I asked for the cause and evidence supporting it. This was the response received from Twitter and they have refused to respond at all to the multiple requests for even a comment on the actual "rule".

So basically if you do anything to make Brianna Wu mad you will be banned without notice, without any evidence showing you have done what they claim, and with no way to appeal the decision.

Now admittedly on this account I did post the graduation records so I know the reason, but if Election Eve is getting you banned and so is "John Walker Flynt" than it's because Wu spends all day forcing Frank and Isometric and her other friends to mass report accounts that offend her.

Or to be more clear, why does this innocent dude deserve to be dragged into utter insane autism for nothing he did himself?
He doesn't. Though there's a good chance that weens have already contacted him. I also think that he'd eventually get dragged into this anyways because John is so intent on wiping away his past that I wouldn't put it past him to have the account banned simply because of the name.

Thinking has never been Wu's strong suit.

How the hell can Twitter justify keeping ISIS accounts up while spending an abnormal amount of time and manpower to protect a well known scammer and racist/sexist?

This is a serious question: which ISIS accounts are being left up?
As far as I know, most of them are still up. It really seems like Twitter staff could not care less about a bunch of psychopaths who slaughter innocent people like pigs using their platform to recruit other braindead assholes, but trying to point out that Brianna Wu is a bad person who can't tell the truth to save his life is the worst offense possible.

I really want to see someone test the boundaries on this without doing anything obvious like directly messaging Wu or pretending to be John. Would someone tweeting reviews of Election Eve chapters into the void get banned?

Is more easy to get John "harassers" because they talk in english, almost all ISIS tweets include errr arabic letters(?) and normal letters so they are more difficult to flag

also ISIS is more busy declaring war against the infidels and not harassing blue hairs

Mmmm the wording of this "Notification" is weird i mean, Targeted abuse? so John is in some kind of list of protected idiots? that would be explain two things

1) is incredible ability to shut down accounts almost immediately
2) the fact that every other SJW can do the same

this also would explain the fact that there is the shadowbanned list, where people that Wu (and others sjw) hate are fucked

The most ironic thing of all of this, is that people is going to be afraid to talk to Wu because if he is in a bad mood BOOM HARASSMENT and the twitter cucks are going to obliterate your account

The only way to stay safe in Twitter is being in the blocklist sadly

They've been getting deleted, often quite frequently, but Twitter often takes its sweet time getting to them, compared to say, defending the deadname of a sociopathic tranny with delusions of grandeur, because that's the sort of thing that requires immediate action.

isis-justin-bieber-twitter.png

Just a few days ago, ISIS accounts were using the #JustinBieber tag to direct people to violent anti-west propaganda. A few sites covered it in the news. ISIS has been akin to a hydra on Social Media; chop off one head, two grows in its place. So you would think that fighting these extremists who are very aggressive in getting a platform for themselves would be the primary target of Twitter support purges. You'd be wrong. Because Twitter's administration is largely self-policed (users report accounts, etc), ISIS is basically backburnered. Any ISIS account that pokes its head above water does get reported, and does get dealt with, but as we've seen from shit like this fucking thread in general, ISIS is not a priority for Twitter's loudest userbase (Social Justice, of course).

Instead, almost everything has been thrown by Twitter support at curtailing Gamergate and related hashtags (even things like #TorrentialDownpour, which was to discuss the Fire Emblem: Fates censoring), fucking with Conservatives and Classic Liberals who have too large a mouthpiece, and going after "harassment," which anyone remotely familiar with the Brianna Wu thread and its Lolcow Wiki articles know about by now. We know about these due to the shadowbannings, the changes to the search algorithms (any tag favored by critics of Social Justice will get removed from autocomplete, even if it trends, like #IStandWithAttackHelicopters and #TorrentialDownpour did), and the fact that any Anti-GGer with a follower-base - even one as reviled as Wu - can basically get people suspended on a fucking whim.

Hence we have the surreal situation where accounts that broke no rules but inconvenienced a prominent Anti-GGer can be indefinitely suspended (@le0pirat3 vs Nyberg for instance, @Smutley's DNWarLibrary account, or GethN7), but ISIS accounts can persist for some time before anyone does anything about them because they simply aren't reported quickly enough, and the fact that they're responsible for shit that the regressive left doesn't like to think about (Cologne for instance). Mind, this is despite the fact that ISIS has threatened to kill Twitter's employees for deleting their accounts.

Absolutely bizarre. I've never seen anything like this shit in the history of the Internet.

Don't forget that ISIS are just poor oppressed minorities punching up according to SJWs.

Anyone want to speculate as to why Wu buys so many games and then never touches them? She's bought XCOM, Streetfighter, Undertale, Firewatch, Nitroplus Blasterz and the new Danganronpa (supposedly one of her favorite ever game series) so far this year and not played more than an hour or so of each.

You can hardly say it's for industry research. What's she going to learn from XCOM that transfers to her dreadful visual novel project? It's such bizarre behaviour, and shows a complete disrespect for the value of money which after all she isn't earning herself. It's like she just doesn't enjoy games at all, but she's somehow convinced herself that she does.

Or to be more clear, why does this innocent dude deserve to be dragged into utter insane autism for nothing he did himself?
Agreed.

So you are saying, to last longer on twitter people should deadname Brianna in Arabic? Because I have the strange feeling that this might be part of the issue here. All the ISIS accounts that spread propaganda in English are surely made to spread it and then burn after, the longer running ones will be in Arabic. Since I don't believe twitter has any relevant arabic language department....

I don't know either, but I needed to do something creative because all work an no play makes Clausewitz a dull boy...
