She has her laptop out in the restaurant to play video games.

Okay.
And is simultaniously tweeting, too.

I can see it before my eyes. Gangly, huge "woman" with dangerhair sitting in a restaurant, laptop in front of her and smartphone in hand taking pictures of the laptop, using twitter furiously.

No waiter is going to approach that willingly because the tip will probably be shit and one wrong word can mean you're going to get reprimanded.

If you want to defend someone why just not do it? Announcing that you want to defend someone in twitter and having crocodile tears about how unjust it is to see someone mocked while playing Plegge is kind of fucking shallow.

This is what Wu is doing this weekend.

Here are her dox:

Address: 425 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210

Is the Kiwi hunter-killer robot still in the shop?

Yep....

She speaks at the event (whatever it is exactly) too.

I especially love the second appearance of Wu on a panel.

Shouldn't be Frank the one being in the Illustration panel as he is the actual SciFi artist of the household? Or Wu is more important in her almost null proffesional work as a illustrator ?

Frank speaks on
  1. The Legacy and The Legend of Star Wars
  2. Seven Easy Steps to Taking Over the Universe
  3. What’s New in the World of Dinosaurs?
  4. Alien Invasions — Why Do They Bother?
Wu should've been guest of honor for number 2 and 4, what with having first hand experience.

It reminds me of a certain someone.

My god, every place john is mentioned in the con website he has the retarded "spacekat" middle name, really?

Stories Within Video Games: i love to see how he explain the great lore of R60

Diversity in Illustration For Fantastic Fiction/Comics/Graphic Novels : I dont know what the hell he is doing here

Boston in Fiction, Video, and Games: Almost all R60 happen in Space, CHINESE SPESSSS

How You Get the Word Out: Starting and Running a Successful Podcast: everytime i listen to john in isometric is the most cringe thing in the world, like he waits for every opportunity to talk about him

Only one event is open to the public, i guess john is trying to prevent another ralph incident, how many of you want to bet that he is going to be tweeting stupid jokes from there?

Also the guy that was having the slapfest with Wu well:

We can mark R60 for Playstation as "never happening"

Última edición:

A news organization is throwing a tantrum because the First Amendment exists and you can't just have people thrown in prison for saying things you don't like.

Do these morons even realize the depth of their stupidity?

Maybe she should say something about how obese women don't take care of themselves.

She should leap up and scream DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?

Just as a straight line, so they can respond: "The Hamburglar?"

Pew pew!

Finishing Revolution 60, a game changer in storytelling and diamont in the rough, is on Brianna Wu's top 3 list of things to do.

Second place is playing something.

Top priority is mustering the restraint not to poke that huge nose into other people's business.

Oh yeah John, I know how hard it must be for you to not chime in and tell them that they forgot to call her a fat dyke. That is, if this actually happened, which it likely didn't.

Brianna and Frank speaking 4x each at one event is weird, at minimum. As in, "we don't have any other entity to fill up these slots." To quickly give an example. One keynote I am preforming for a large national conference this year asked if I wanted to conduct a training in addition to the keynote. The invitation to speak further was a courtesy, because the keynote is not in line with my field directly. I was given the opportunity to speak about my normal topic later in the day. If they asked me to speak 4x I would respond, "about what?!"

How about

"I can see how one culture would value petite versus more curvy - but it's hard for me to imagine a culture that likes obese as a body type. I think that different men and women are attracted to all body types, except for lazy and unhealthy. It's because the way you look on the outside reflects who you are inside. When you look like that, I think it sends the signal "I don't value myself, and neither should you."

Let me tell you, the gal politics of having a fat girl in the group are way complicated. /rant"

If I said this I would be quietly ushered off the stage and told, "We aren't paying you."
