As for the birth year, John often shaved three years off his real age. Check out this passage from "Only Fools Mess with Brianna", which was posted on July 16, 2006:

On July 6 of last year I broke up with Heather, ending the worst
relationship of my life. I was 25 at the time.

Although he doesn't mention it in that essay, July 6 is John's birthday. So if he had been 25 in 2005 on that date, one would infer a birth year of 1980. That year was first added to his Wikipedia page as his approximate birth year on October 14, 2014 - just four days after his and Frank's death/rape threat hoax. The edit was removed about a day later.

What's interesting is that the person who added the estimated birth year, and did a lot of early work on John's Wikipedia page, is Elonka Dunin. Dunin has been a Wikipedia administrator for over 8 years. Take a look at who Dunin is friends with on Facebook.

Dunin even brags to have "substantially expanded or rewritten" John's Wikipedia page.
