I mixed up the MMO PC with the app. My bad. I should have known because it's fucking Wu so of course it's an app game.

I would have made the same mistake. After hearing Wu describe how playing the "Bloodsport" of Peggle shows her "high level of skill" in the Grace Hopper interview, it underlines just how much she takes all the wrong things too seriously....

It's instructive, actually. It seems as though so much interaction with Wu is based around ego-gratifictaion, whether it's her giving a speech to tell all the men what they're doing wrong, or this guy at the Grace Hopper event in Houston treating Wu like an authority on all things vidya, which she clearly loves.

That interview, in particular, shows just how awkward Wu's personal interactions are.

I know we've all seen it, but i watched it again while looking for new inspiration in my personal gallery of crazy Wu faces. Anyway, just to start: EVERYTHING the dude says, Wu responds with: "Omigod that's SUCH and insightful question!" - like really, practically squealing with glee. It's strange, to say the least....borderline flirtatious, I'd say....if I didn't know Wu was such a true and honest 100 % straight, happily married Cis female. And then the constant gesticulations, ye gods....I've though about this alot. Wu has the oddest, most compulsive gesticulations I've ever seen. Whether manual or facial, there's many patterns:

1. When Wu thinks she's finished a profound sentence, or feels under attack from a "hit piece", she'll end a sentence by tilting her head, squinting her eyes, frowning, and nodding. Look for it. Seriously, its one of her most common tics.

2. To illustrate a point, Wu makes these palms-up grabbing gestures, over and over and over and over again. It's nutty. Another one of the most frequent.

3. Again, when Wu is recalling a false memory, inflating her own resume, tooting her own horn, or thinking she sounds smart. she'll close her eyes and smile, perhaps laugh, for an unnaturally protracted period of time. Creepy. Like she's just let out a SBD fart in bed with Frank and is waiting for him to smell it, tickled with her own wit.

4. One of the MOST frequent things she does, and this is vocal not manual, is to ingratiate herself through language with groups she doesn't actually belong to but wants to be a part of: "...we women..." or "...speaking as an engineer..." are just two examples from this interview, but she does it all the time. This is also one of the best ways to get on her good side conversationally, it seems: refer to her as being a part of one of these groups. The isometric co-hosts do it ALL the time, which is one of the reasons Wu seems so high on her own ego when you listen to those abortions.

5. This is just a habit of hers, but I had to include it because it reminds me of OPL: Wu will use slang and terminology that is so "inside baseball" when talking with people who clearly don't know what she's referring to. CWC discusses pokemon games as if people are all expected to know the details of each iteration.....he seems to do it because he thinks everyone cares about whatever HE does. But Wu, on the other hand, IS actually smart enough to know that these sorts of terms and bits of cliquey slang are not known to all. She doesn't care, loves to be asked by someone, (as it demonstrates she knows more than someone else, putting her in the role of an authority again) and loves playing the teacher. In the Grace Hopper interview, she uses terms that the guy clearly doesn't understand, just to seem smart. I think her over-reliance on this technique, when interviewed by stupid people, is one of the reasons she got away with claiming the degree bona fides for so long: people thought Wu knew her shit because she deliberately chooses this impenetrable jargon, as a way of bragging.

Whew, that got long! Sorry. My 2 cents turned into a bit more. But I wanted to see if other kiwis had noticed these patterns as well.

In the Grace Hopper interview, she uses terms that the guy clearly doesn't understand, just to seem smart.

Wu routinely does this and, in any context where people who actually know what they're talking about challenge Wu's bullshit, starts immediately screaming about mansplaining and claiming persecution. You're just supposed to sit and put up with utter nonsense from this freak.

I'm surprised she's managed to remain off Twitter this long, either she has more restraint than i give her credit for or she's taking a very long nap.
He's most likely trying to get the evidence removed.
There's no chance at all of getting her wikipedia page corrected. It's a problem with Wikipedia generally. When most biographical information about living people is taken from interviews with them, and so-called journalists don't do even the most cursory fact checking, people are essentially writing their own wikipedia pages by proxy. Any attempt to correct the lies in Wu's biography would be original research, and couldn't be cited on WP.

The only fix for the problem is for journalists to actually start doing their fucking jobs, and that won't happen any time soon.
If there ever is another, more advanced Wikipedia in the future, everybody needs to jump in and post articles with true, unbiased facts.
Nah she's posting on her one podcasts Twitter account "pretending" to be one of the cohosts.

Damn, even crack addicts can hold off for more than a day!
Holy Jeebus.

This is an Isometric podcast from the past month. Don't torture yourself by listening to more than the first two minutes, but within that, Wu.......introduces......shimself. Seconds 27-43.

It's the spergiest thing....I've ever heard. Even for Wu. Seriously. It's a must-hear.

This show is terrible; it's all people kissing Wu's butt, then SJWs trying to prove their nerd bona fides. Terrible. But this introduction......Jesus. I don't know the song, but Wu singing (rapping?) is.....not to be missed.
At what time is Wu rapping? I can't listen to the entire thing.

But Wu, on the other hand, IS actually smart enough to know that these sorts of terms and bits of cliquey slang are not known to all.

But how smart is Wu, really? I mean, she spent a decade of her life attempting to earn a degree and failed at that. I know from personal experience you really don't have to try all that hard to get a degree. Even her interpersonal skills don't seem all that great, she's on twitter almost constantly but she's never actually talking to people, just shouting her opinions in to the void and screaming "mansplaining!" at anyone who contradicts her even mildly. I do wonder what her friends think of her, they must see through her attempts at self-aggrandisement, always talking about her "team" and her "office." Maybe she genuinely doesn't know how she comes across to other people.

Does Wu even have friends, outside of the people they seemingly associate with for social justice BS?

I think she didn't get her degree because she just didn't care. Her parents were covering the expenses while she skipped classes only to decided "I wanna be a journalist/engineer/whatever". How far has she come since then? Well, now she has her husband covering her expenses while neglecting Revolution 60 and deciding "I wanna make a game/make a machine that can read emotions/be the voice of women in tech/be a voice for trans/be a voice for BLMs on how whites shouldn't be a voice for them/etc". She hasn't changed at all since being John Walker Flynt. She yells her opinions out onto twitter now instead of using a shitty college paper and comic strip. Everything is more or less the same.

If Frank Wu wasn't born into a rich family that enabled his delusions and made him into a disgusting tranny, he probably would have become a socially stunted serial killer who raped women and then dumped their bodies in a shallow pit off the highway somewhere

Or one of these insane scammers/schitzos that start a kickstarter promising some epic game and preview their concept with poorly drawn ms-paint, crayon drawings, and text in size 32 font in bold, neon colors.

Intellectually, I'd say Brianna is below average. It doesn't help that she is constantly speaking on subjects that she has no business talking about due to her ignorance but, beyond that, she doesn't demonstrate a desire to expand her knowledge and she writes at a pretty basic level.

Brianna is kind of a funny sociopath in that she displays none of the charm but all of the other important characteristics and she's pretty adept at it. Despite everyone knowing she's a trainwreck with an ossuary in her closet and her dwindling support, people still seem reluctant to speak out against her. They know Wu won't stop until she's ruined someone and she doesn't have anything to lose doing it. That makes her dangerous but her lack of intelligence and charm will prevent her from doing too much harm outside of the SJW circles (unless I'm missing something).

I think it's a combination of apathy and no direction. Part of what I think led to Brianna making those posts about how running an animation studio into the ground was a better experience for her than college is that she never had any idea on what she really wanted to do. I think her parents may have been a bigger influence on her college career than she's let on.

Wu needs a break from everyone talking about her college experience so she can... talk about her college experience?

I enjoy this quote, because if you know anything about the second episode she's talking about, Wu has more in common with the villain Janice Lester than she'll ever realize.

Janice Lester is a member of Starfleet that never gets command of a starship, and blames it on her being a woman and her belief that Starfleet is run by a bunch of misogynists. So she uses her doctor boyfriend to get hold of an alien body switching device, and steals Kirk's body. Her reasoning being that now that she's the proper gender, she can totally run a Starship and stick it to the men in charge of Starfleet. But it turns out she's a crazy, insane bitch no matter what gender she is, and the rest of the Enterprise crew mutinies after she has a violent temper tantrum on the bridge and lets her power go to her head.

Brianna is kind of a funny sociopath in that she displays none of the charm but all of the other important characteristics and she's pretty adept at it.

Wu has found an odd niche in an ideological bizarro world subculture where acting like a complete piece of shit all the time is actually considered a good thing. However, you have to be a deviant of some sort, and the more deviant you are, the more atrocious your behavior is allowed to be.

So looking like some kind of weird, deformed monster while shrieking abuse and incoherent, ignorant nonsense on a variety of subjects is actually, strangely, a reasonable way for an SJW to behave in that subculture. It's rewarded.

Other than polishing that turd rev60 with lense flare, just what the fuck is B.Wu's end game?
She doesn't seem to be financially motivated. The whole woman in tech thing is total bullshit, as she has been proven to be utterly useless at game development and even more useless at being a woman!

One common characteristic of sociopaths is a lack of achievable, long-term goals. I know it's been said a lot, but Brianna is such a textbook example of one that it's scary.

The end game is everyone bows to Brianna Wu. She is hailed as a pioneer in every field she chances to touch and showered with Hugos, Nobels, and Twitter verifications. All of this without her having to get up off the couch and actually do something.

She wants the easy road to success and fame, but she can't just pull a Kardashian and release a sex tape. So she just impulsively chases after whatever she thinks will be the "next big thing", though her inability to commit kills her every time.

GamerGate was supposed to be the golden goose, and Wu has been one of the last to realize that ship sailed a LONG time ago and wasn't even all that bankable to begin with. The social climate is no longer as friendly to SJWism, but again, John's in denial mode because he was one of the last to get the memo and sunk so much hope in making bank off the "oppressed womyn" BS he doesn't want to believe it's over, and all the asspatters he's surrounded himself with don't help.

He also never counted on having his past come back to haunt him. Sarkeesian was wise enough to stick to a script and Quinn had a lot of beta males and corrupt journos ready to cover her ass, but Wu can't follow scripts and pisses away good will simply by being himself, so unlike the aforementioned who have weathered the skeletons in their closet, John has a lot more to lose, especially because Quinn and Sarkeesian are veteran grifters and he's just a loud mouthed pretentious wannabee.
