There's no chance at all of getting her wikipedia page corrected. It's a problem with Wikipedia generally. When most biographical information about living people is taken from interviews with them, and so-called journalists don't do even the most cursory fact checking, people are essentially writing their own wikipedia pages by proxy. Any attempt to correct the lies in Wu's biography would be original research, and couldn't be cited on WP.

The only fix for the problem is for journalists to actually start doing their fucking jobs, and that won't happen any time soon.

It's not original research when it's in numerous published news sources, which it will be. First, because of Milo, and second, because the Twitter censorship right before the story comes out will guarantee more stories covering the original story.

I seriously doubt this is solely due to SJW bullshit, or even mostly, but it is a sign of deeply incompetent management that while the company is swirling the toilet, there are apparently still staff with so little to do that they apparently spend all day catering to deranged con artist trannies like Wu, generating immensely bad PR by running damage control for them.

I'd say it's like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, but it's really more like shooting grenade launchers at the floor.

Also, even if it weren't an outright criminal like Wu, blatantly taking sides in partisan political issues is not what any social media platform should be doing. You immediately alienate at least half your customers. Incredibly stupid.

All they should care about is their userbase being as large as possible. Allowing a few politically motivated employees to hijack the whole platform to push their own personal political agendas is suicidal.

And a betrayal of the shareholders.

Worse, Twitter becoming an entrenched example of every fucking thing wrong with Social Networking hasn't helped matters. Twitter is synonymous with the worst parts of internet call-out culture and attention whoring. But somehow, fascinatingly, it's more than that.

When the staff is not hiring sex offenders or helping to cover for political ideologies, they essentially ignored ISIS using their network to recruit, to the point where it's now being sued by the family of victims of ISIS terrorism attacks. This would be one thing, but they'll defend harassment on the part of people like Wu and somehow suddenly have all the time in the world to lock down hashtags connected to Gamergate, force people to delete tweets exposing Sarah Nyberg as a Pedophile, and focus on similar non-issues.

In less than a year Twitter went from the biggest social networking site to #4 and in danger of being Digg Version 2.Fun.

There has to be some kind of world record for that level of fucking ineptitude. That's transcendant, like a biblical plague.
