Nerd mansplaining: The "PC" era began 39 years ago when the Apple II, Commodore PET and the TRS-80 were released. They were called Home Computers back then.

She said this once before and I made a post trying to get her version of history to work by fiddling with definitions. Basically you can't argue the mainframe was any later than 1950. 1950 + 20 + 20 + 10 = 2000.. I dunno it just doesn't work no matter how you cut it. The IBM 360 released in 1965 was considered a 3rd generation mainframe so I dunno.
