Wu's complaining that there are not enough playable women in a series called "The Mario Brothers".
What about Super Mario Bros. 2 where playing as Peach makes the game a cakewalk?
Or super Princess Peach where she actually saved Mario, the paper Mario series where Peach is usually either sneaking around the enemy's base after she's been kidnapped in an attempt to learn everything she can in order to escape/help the heroes or actively fighting to save the world along with everyone else, or smash bros/sports games where Peach and most of the other female characters are competing against guys that are like twice their size and often kicking their ass. Yknow for someone who claims that Peach is the reason she realized girls could play games too, she really doesn't know much about the character.
I think Wu has ruined heart emotes for me. Every time I see them now, I find myself subconsciously assuming bitchiness no matter what the context.
The first two Paper Mario games had a number of playable party members. Including one who (in the Japanese version) was considered tr.ans
I was going to mention that one, too, because I'm sure that Wu has never even heard of that game.
