Anthony has a history of saying "multiple" when he means two to make his enemy seem obsessed. Also notice how in the followup tweet he says "second time" instead of "again" because he no longer feels the need to gild the lily.
Anthony believes that everyone on Youtube is either a lying partisan like him or doing "anything for views". EFAP only covered him once even though he's kinda a big deal
so he must just be too high effort to criticize. In reality, Mauler et al are just a bunch of Laughing Joking Numbnuts who want to make lolcow videos disguised as intellectual film criticism, and Anthony just didn't catch their attention. His obsession with Tim is similar, he can't just be reacting to topical videos, he must be obsessed with me because I'm so important . If I tell him I don't care I can break his heart and show everyone how obsessed he is. Of course, on some level he knows they aren't obsessed with him, even though they should be so he turns into a "jealous ex" whenever these people stop paying attention.

The actual reason why Anthony shut up after EFAP did their episode on him is that Otterly Noah posted DMs proving that Anthony coached him on how to get away with plagiarism because Anthony backstabbed him when Noah kept making things worse. If Anthony kept drawing attention to the drama, eventually people on his side would find out the truth, and plagiarism is one of the things leftists aren't allowed to get away with because Hbomberguy used it as a convenient weapon to bury James Somerton. They probably also wouldn't take kindly to Anthony trying to mentor Noah and then throwing him to the dogs, he could say goodbye to all of his private correspondence with other Youtubers.
I find the whole James Somerton thing, really funny, because plagiarism was literally the best he could've done, when he wasn't doing that he was just, making shit up and acting like it was true and validated by real gay patriots.
Nbomberguy had no choice but to focus on plagiarism. He needed to make it look like he wasn't making a drama video about Somerton (Somerton's actual crime was criticizing the breadtube cabal and nebula btw), so he needed to include other Youtubers to make it look like a serious video about a social issue. If he had made it about lying Youtubers, he would have made his side look very foolish for listening to Somerton at all, and he would have either been forced to include other leftist Youtubers (would have been very easy) or else make Somerton stand out by being the only leftist, which would have told people why he really made the video. Conveniently, Somerton was a serial plagiarist, and Illuminaughty and Internet Historian had recently been caught in plagiarism adjacent scandals (the inclusion of IH was very convenient because it made a lot of people think it was actually a hitpiece against him). Of course, the inclusion of these two also made it very clear it was a hitpiece against Somerton, but people are really stupid so they didn't notice. IH actually did not commit plagiarism, plagiarism is when you pass off someone else's work as your own, but everyone knew he was just doing a dramatic reading of some article, they just didn't know which one, so it was just a matter of copyright. From what I remember, Illuminaughty did commit plagiarism, however about half of what Nbomb said was plagiarism was not, he just needed to pad out the video to make her inclusion seem important (he actually pointed to an example of her giving a quotation with proper attribution and called it plagiarism).
