Ngl, I am genuinely impressed that Bam is still sober.

I think staying away from the Jackass production is the best choice for him right now, might trigger him to relapse and go apeshit again with all that went down.

April and Phil seem to be fine too though I was sad to see Phil in a wheelchair while he's not even that old, pretty sure he's not even 70 y/o yet, it could help to lose some weight.

I honestly think a lot of it has been the stuff he's been doing with the Dern Brothers here lately, seems like they're keeping him busy and keeping his mind off alcohol and related bullshit, and sort of helping him relive the "glory days" without the addition of booze/narcotics. Well, that and he's been skating a bit more, too. I'm honestly fucking impressed, watching some of these more recent videos, how Bam can fucking remember so much about the day-to-day production of Jackass/VLB/CKY and goings-on at Castle Bam, even though he spent pretty much every day since then fucked up, minus this last little bit. Dude has like an eidetic memory of everything in spite of the abuse his brain took from drugs, alcohol, concussions, etc.

Part of getting/staying sober is staying the fuck away from the people who enabled you or people who you got fucked up with, and it seems like the Dern Brothers are a good influence on him, plus he's actually been skating again and doing work [Fishtank, for example] again. It's wild, I fully expected after that shit a while ago where he assaulted Jess and ran off into the woods or whatever, that he'd likely be dead in six months or less and now he seems to be doing pretty fucking good.

It only took 13 minutes for Jackass: Best and Last to make me laugh so hard I cried. Without spoiling too much, the scene in question involves Jackass supreme Steve-O, a robot, the robot’s claw-like hand, and Steve-O’s butthole.
Is it worth paying to see it in theatres? Been rewatching and laughing at their .5 episodes.

I enjoyed it. We get to see the silence of the bams and holy shit, I almost actually died seeing them actually outright torture Bam. There's a decent bit of reused footage, but it's classic shit and has some behind the scenes info, usually.

I can say in earnest I don't feel I was gipped.

I can't imagine monetizing retarded antics with childhood friends and becoming millionaires off of it. Maybe I'm just a wistful millennial boomer, but I got nothing but respect for the CKY and Big Brother alumni that formed Jackass. Tom Green essentially lit the torch, but these cunts ran with it as an ensemble cast. Bam gets a lotta shit but him and Dico made all this shit happen, between Bam's editing and Dico's comedic chops.
