The only reason Bam can still pull any of this bullshit is because the parents he claims to hate so much have looked after his absolutely risible truckloads of money.
But trying to keep any coherent thought front and centre of his mind seems beyond him. There was some speculation in here last year (I think?) about whether he had successfully given himself actual brain damage from his addictions. I am reasonably confident as an internet expert that he has. Even allowing for the bipolar, Bam just comes off now like all of the neurons are not firing. You have to think any competent treatment program for him (lol) would assess him for Wernicke-Korsakoff. The dude seems... fucked, and not in a "get sober and this will stop" kinda way. Actually fucked.

Yes. CKY is legitimately decent. Bam is an accident and never should’ve been allowed in the Jackass crew. The only good scene he was in was the snake pit thing where he pissed his pants and cried.
Steve-o could legitimately summon the willpower to be strapped into a port a potty full of shit and launched by bungees. Knoxville probably could’ve cut his own dick off if someone promised to sew it back on after. All of those guys had legit superpowers as far as power of will is concerned.

Right. The marketable skill that set the jackass guys apart was the ability to TAKE it, and Bam was just faking his way around there thinking it was good enough to DISH it.
I’m also sure that the reason he went off so hard about wanting to catch Ville Valo’d AIDS so bad was because he was jealous of his brother being able to play an instrument and BE in a band, so he was doing a similar thing of trying to compete in uneven terms by getting as close to a band as he could.

I listened to CKY, but I also didn’t. It was lumped together with all of the other skater music which was popular with the teens back in the day.
