He uses LolcowLive to blur the lines between what is real and what isn't real. He won't openly admit it but faking cancer was the best thing Boogie did for himself. Before it his credibility wasn't great either but he still had enough room for people to believe he truly faked cancer. The exposure from that got him the attention he craves but it also opened up the new reality that nobody on the internet fully believes anything Boogie does or says anymore. He's essentially got a free ticket to do or say anything he likes and the majority of people just pass it off as Boogie crying for attention and therefore ignore him because he's a cringe cunt.
In one way it's good since his credibility is fucked and nobody respects Boogie or believes anything that comes out of his mouth. Dezi could come out and claim Boogie legit died in his sleep last night and nobody would automatically believe it because he's blurred the lines of reality so much. He won't get the initial outpour of sadness he wants from his favorite content creators because nobody believes a word he says anymore until there's actual proof (and even then it's doubtful). And by the time it's fully verified nobody will be paying attention to it anymore.
But on the other hand he's got free reign to do whatever he likes while he's alive and can get away with it because LolcowLive is so fake and gay. Nobody questions it's authenticity anymore and everyone just assumes Boogie is doing a bit for attention. And most of it is.
There's a reason most of his shit doesn't get posted here anymore because it's desperate attempts for attention, but it also means that the real things (like Boogie's fetish for treating Dezi like his daughter) gets swept under the rug.
If any other lolcow openly admitted that they wished they began talking to their girlfriend when they were underage they would be in the Community Feature Submissions thread so fast, but when Boogie did it nobody felt a need to bring attention to it. That's how dangerous his situation is. I posted a clip earlier of him talking to Dezi like a little child and also sexualising her in the same breath and it'll mostly get ignored because that's the blurred reality Boogie has manipulated this into.
So I don't think it's even Boogie playing a villain or a character. Yes he hams it up and lies about 99% of the things he spouts on LolcowLive. But he also uses the platform to openly get away with talking about his intrusive and predatory thoughts.
