💰 Grifter Boogie / Boogie2988 / "Francis" / Steven Jason Williams - Fat, Rapidly Declining Divorced "Nice Guy" Middle-Aged Youtuber, Former Edgy Porn Blogger, lied about having cancer and being molested. Cohost of fake drama show "Lolcow Live (LCL)". Just WILL NOT die.

Bragging about standing...#goals.

Gotta give him credit though, standing with 500 pounds of weight has gotta be hard. I don't really understand how fatcows even do it at all. People like Amberlynn and Boogie-it's unimaginable. AL weighs 400 lbs more than I do, I cannot imagine carrying that around for even a second. Even distributed through their body-I just don't get how these deathfats do it, I think I'd collapse. Are they stronger than normal people? I've never heard an explanation.

I know it doesn't last and most of them end up immobile and in bed, but for a while they walk short distances. It's amazing.

Holy shit Boogie slow down, this is mad progress. At this rate he won't be needing surgery anymore.

Next step should be playing Guitar Hero just like capo di tutti capi of lolcows, Christian Weston Chandler (optimistic)

For some reason this reminds me of that scene from F is for Family where the obese boss gets up to scream at Frank and immediately exclaims "Holy shit I'm standing!"

Yes, they build up muscle from hauling the heft around. Remember, that weight doesnt appear overnight. As they pack on pounds, they build up muscle mass in their legs hauling the weight around. Same as if you started walking around with a 50lbs backpack all day every day. You would build muscle strength in your legs pretty quick.

think of it as the boiling frog. You cant imagine lugging that weight now, but if you were to put on 5 lbs a month for 5 years, your muscles and body would adapt, and suddenly you would be carrying an extra 300 lbs without realizing how much muscle was hidden under that fat. If you put that 300lbs on in a week, your legs would never be able to hold the weight.

Once they get to boogie's size, however, the pain from fluid retention helps mask the pain from their joints scraping together until such a point that their joints are utterly destroyed. And if you are over 400 pounds, you have to work to keep the weight on, so you also have mental disorders playing into how well they ignore the pain of gaining until it becomes immobilizing.

the human body can put up with insane amounts of abuse.

He lives some hick state, right? Does that explain the failed redneck personality he tried to make popular?
Come to mention it, the redneck voice is his real accent.

He mentioned in his appearance on the H3 Podcast that he stopped talking in his native accent on his brother's advice so he wouldn't get made fun of in college, but he's still capable of lapsing back into it, which he demonstrated for Ethan and Hila. Hilariously enough, his example of a time when he'd slip back into his accent was ordering food at his hometown Applebee's, a scenario he is doubt very intimately familiar with.

This might be late, but I just realized He says he's "a victim of munchausen syndrome".

I suspect, from what he's said in the past, he means Munchausen by proxy. That being that his mother kept behaving like he was ill, which in turn caused a lot of issues with his attitude to his health.

So you're saying if I made like a service where I would haul fat fuckers around I would eventually become goku in theory?

Here's something else to add to the discussion: the muscle created from the body forced to adapt to obesity is weaker than the muscle caused from working out doing weight-bearing exercises. Fat people who are still reasonably healthy are demonstrably weaker than their peers who may have similar amounts of muscle mass but are not obese. Being fat fucks you up in ways we never could have imagined back when it was rare to see a 300 pound man lumbering around.

One thing Boogie doesn't do is crow about how strong his bulk makes him, and that's damning him with faint praise but still I'm glad he isn't one of those fat assholes in cross fit classes acting like they are strongmen. You see them once because they fuck themselves up so badly proving how strong they are that they never come back, but the normal weight guys they tried to intimidate are still there weeks later. I guess being a strongman stereotype wouldn't fit into Boogie's victim narrative but with him you take your upsides where you can find them.

Surgery is tomorrow guys, will it happen or will it delay again? Make your bets now.

I personally think the doctors don't feel confident because Boogie is not in the right conditions but he will force the doctors to operate him anyway.

Surgery on the 1st, I think. So two more days.

Well short of pointing a gun on them, he can't force them to operate on him. He can remind them of contractual obligations to perform the surgery, but ulimately the Doctors have the last say in when they will operate.

It will be delayed though. I can't see the Doctors going through with this until Boogie is <450 pounds

I wish him well if the surgery does go off on schedule. I'll give the dude credit. Unlike so many others documented around here he at least seems to know that he has problems, and is mostly upfront in his inability to master them. He's a fragile emotional wreck of a human being without the mental strength to say no or risk a confrontation. But unlike so many of the twisted deviants perverts and human shit stains we see, he at least has hope of being a better person. Provided he doesn't kill himself with Mountain Dew and Uncontrolled Gluttony first. Dudes gotta be the worst case of a "stress eater" most have ever seen.

I've known two people who had this surgery. One is a good family friend. Was under 400 lbs. Had a healthy active lifestyle otherwise (also hypothryroidism) and no other underlying medical conditions. No diabetes. No circulatory problems. He had the surgery and followed every instruction to the letter. Did everything required. He is now happy and healthy at 180 lbs. With a vast improvement to his life. The other was a friends husband (note the "was"). He was in the high 400's if not over 500 lbs. Every health problem you could imagine to go with it. Uncontrolled Diabetes. Mobility issues. Peripheral circulatory issues. Cardiac issues etc. He insisted on getting the surgery. he spent the next 3 months in the ICU before leaving his wife a widow.

I hope and pray that Boogie has a positive outcome and is able to change his life for the better. I really do, because I have seen what happens when you don't have a positive outcome. And nobody deserves that. Unfortunately the medical pessimist in me can't help but notice how much Boogie resembles a likely candidate for a negative outcome than a positive.

So if Boogie were to die would the fatasses of YouTube (Off the top of my head, kidbehindacamera, daymedrops, Joey World Tour) shape up and go on a diet or just make a RIP video and continue slowly killing themselves on camera? My vote is for the latter.

One thing I have to give Boogie credit for is he never got into this whole food porn fad on YouTube. I don't think I could stand the sight of him eating anyway.

DarkSydePhil for sure would make a RIP video for some quick views (fully monetized of course), because he mentioned Boogie I think once or twice in his entire career and they are connected by having the same "job", as Phil would call it. Of course Boogie is the bigger youtuber (not only in size) and that's why Phil would try to profit off him.

DarkSydePhil for sure would make a RIP video for some quick views (fully monetized of course)

We should take bets on what other YouTubers would make monetized RIP videos. Because if Boogie does die there are going to be hundreds of videos from everyone, even from people not in his circle.

Will Angry Joe make the same mistake twice? Will WatchMojo make a Top 5 Reasons We Will Miss Boogie and monetize it like they did with Satoru Iwata?

The pessimist in me says he'll decide against it at the very last minute and make a video explaining all about his anxieties on the matter, the optimist in me says he'll probably end up trying to relapse after he's done the surgery
