Yea it stinks his name is Bryan Lee Williams. There's a lot of those. I thought that guy you pictured was him for a minute but nah, different guy. I did see that Bryan hasn't published anything since like 2010 and seems to have parlayed a mediocre academic career into quite a lucrative and easy public health job in Atlanta, CDC adjacent.

Bryan also clearly can do some basic graduate level math and has some IQ about him despite whatever you think of Boogie. I have a hard time believing someone that was able to complete a PHD program was raised in a horrific, stunted, abusive household.

I see he's not first named author in any of the papers listed on Google Scholar. And there aren't many of them. You'd generally need a much more solid publication record than that to get a solid job in academia.

Also, I'm somewhat familiar with his field. That Garfield article is piss poor. There's nothing novel about it. British health educators were doing much more innovative and effective work in this area from about 1987 or so.
