For anyone wondering, transient polycythemia vera can be caused by testosterone, exactly like the type this idiot was using. However, it is not cancer, it is caused by an increase in blood cell production which is a side effect of exogenous testosterone. It can take some time for blood counts to come back to normal after stopping testosterone depending on the dosage and duration of treatment. Unless this turd had stopped the testosterone for at least 6 months before being diagnosed with PV, it was a misdiagnosis due to the effects of the testosterone. Not to mention even if he did have PV, aspirin, weight loss, and phlebotomy, despite what else is going on with him medically, would most likely solve most of the problems that PV causes. Even if he had to take medication to control it, even without insurance, the cost of the most common generic medication to treat PV is ~$30 a month. PV also takes a long time to become a serious problem.

This guy is just a drama queen.
