The story about Mike clums cameraman stealing from flaming star is a bit bonkers
This bit actually made me wonder if it was part of the reason Clum never pushed back on all the inaccuracies from Boogie, and basically let Boogie run his mouth about the doc and Clum the way he did post release? I always wondered why he didn't nail Boogie when it was so obvious he had lied repeatedly, always seemed to me it would have got even more people interested/watching. Maybe it
WAS due to wanting to stay on good terms, only more in regard to this Mitch sitch? I'm sure Clum wasn't super excited about the prospect of the world finding out that his cameraman was thieving from a subject (and the shaman) who tried to help him out and gave him a place to stay, probably not a great look for any future projects he wants to create.
I also find it
incredibly hard to believe that Boogie kept his mouth shut about helping someone and it going sideways like this for so long, we all know he can't keep his yap shut
especially when it comes to something that could earn him asspats. Unless there was a good enough reason for him, maybe like maintaining the Clum relationship moving forward? Is it possible Clum didn't hold Boogie's feet to the fire because he was hoping this Mitch story stayed under wraps, and didn't potentially jeopardize future projects? It makes some potential sense in my head, anyways.
Boogie also disclosed that Clum paid him half of the doc's adsense revenue last night, I find it kinda sussy that this was never mentioned this whole time. This wasn't much money apparently, but it's the fact a documentary subject had a piece of the back-end that bothers me. He also mentioned his 'costs were covered' to the tune of $2k for his appearance in the EDP project, including travel/etc. Not exactly a big payday to associate with a known pedophile, how much of that is left after their vacation to Cleveland ya think?
The moron gave away his role in the EDP project pretty much entirely too, this isn't going to be Boogie just yelling at EDP like he initially tried to claim. This is Boogie and EDP
going back and forth at each other over their respective drama claims, not really the white knight scenario Boogie has been trying to portray.
Boogie screaming about all the help he's given 'ten people' (I think he said) recently that he doesn't brag or tell anyone about except when he screamed all about it last night was another highlight. I highly doubt the premise anyways but this is like someone making an anonymous charity donation, and then when they get in some trouble down the road bringing it up as an example of what a good person they are. If you really were,
you would have just stayed anonymous.
Also finding out that Boogie called Keemstar in a full fledged panic attack from a Cleveland hotel room, bawling about Dezi leaving him because she wasn't feeling safe about this Flaming star situation and neither were her parents, claiming his blood pressure was emergency room levels but he didn't get it treated, etc., just chef's kiss. I wish I could have heard a recording of this so badly, sure sounds to me like Dezi and her family are starting to put a few things about who Boogie really is together to me.
