So, if this is even true, he's telling people how charitable is is by referencing something he did at least 7 years ago. Someone who has a charitable personality would have been able to reference a charitable act much more recent than that.

Though I must say that it's incredibly shitty to promise money to one charity, then change the target charity AFTER people have donated to the initial cause. Doesn't matter if they're both good charities, it's a bad look regardless.

first and foremost a way for Boogie to pay his legal costs. 10% to charity,
90% to himself.
As seen above in the Uvalde receipt tweet, 10% of sales = $190, *10 = $1900 total proceeds. So Uvalde got $190 (+Boogie's $60 "penalty"), and Boogie got $1710 (-his $60 "penalty). I will say this would not leave such a bad taste in my mouth if the charity campaign and the legal costs campaign were kept separate. But to take $1900 and say "here's some change for charity, and the rest of your money goes towards paying for a huge mistake I made" is just awful.
