Has this dude got actual financial qualifications? His degree isn't stated on his LinkedIn page and nothing about his history indicates he has been an accountant or even had any financial education.

His degree is in Music Theory or some other music related field. He wanted to be a composer but reality bit him on the ass. No, he does not have ANY sort of financial qualifications.

Fuck, he used to look not ugly. Thats a shame hes speedrunning boogie looks.

The Caleb fanclub get assmad bringing his non existent credentials up. I brought this up on his subreddit before I got permabanned from reddit and fuck me, the down votes came harder than Jim for Ralph. I didn't even day he is bad at what he does, I merely pointed out that dude has no right giving any sort of financial advice to anyone.

He's just a dude who like to poke his nose in other people's financial business and made a comfy living out of it.
Boogie made enough money at his peak to pay a ACTUAL finance adviser to take a look at his money and help him invest but since he's a fat fucking slob he rather threw money at who's and Marcos.
So now he's turning to a 30something youtuber, with no credentials of his own to help him go through his fucked finances.

Truly a marvelous timeline we live in.

if they don't disclose more granular financial details like his income from twitch subs, twitch bits, youtube channel memberships, youtube superchats, patreon, and onlyfans, then I have zero interest in whatever the fuck this faggot has to say about boogie's financial situation. clum said his non ad revenue based income was "negligible" which is complete bullshit. it's a non-zero amount he earns every month for doing fuck all. either give us the entire breakdown or don't fucking bother at all.

Unfortunately income breakdown/dissection isn't really what Caleb does (at least from what I've seen of him), he is almost entirely focused on things like outgoing costs and monthly budgeting. I would expect literally zero information on that kind of stuff, it's just not what the show is really about. Furthermore any of Boogie's income is going to be entirely self-reported, Caleb's just gonna ask 'how much do you make a month across all your revenue streams? yearly?' and that will be the extent of it is my bet.

Now this isn't a complete home-run because Boogie isn't smart enough to make all the big picture numbers add up (especially under the gun in person I'd imagine), so he can still bust himself on plenty of shit (and I imagine does). That being said what the show is about I imagine will require Boogie providing a number of months of bank/credit/Paypal statements for Caleb to analyze, typically he will go through all of the activity sorting out what is and isn't mandatory or discretionary spending, etc. This is what I'm excited to see/hear about; a more accurate picture of his daily spending and hopefully someone giving him the absolute gears over it. I want to know how much this fat fuck spends in ubereats and doordash every month, I want to see what he's spending at the grocery store and Magic card shop.

I'm also curious as to Dezi's role in this interview, whether she will be featured or Caleb will make the obvious point that she needs to start bringing in household income because a 20 year old stoner sitting at home unemployed being supported by her supposedly crippled fiance is absolutely fucking retarded.

I see this interview turning out similarly to the Clum doc (of course Caleb will get some stuff wrong and take Boogie at his word probably a bit too much), but I think it exposes some shit about Boogie that just makes him look even worse than he already does to date. Boogie evidently thought the doc was going to be some great thing for his career and we saw what happened with that, I think he's doubling down on this interview the same way. He hopes it makes him look more sympathetic/honest to his fanbase/the internet, but I bet it just makes him look a hundred times worse.

How many times have we hear from Boogie (and others) that "this is his last chance!! No, fa real guise!"
Over a few years now it's been boogies last chance, he's poor and on the brink of ruin.

He's probably gonna be ok from this as well since something will come up (like the boxing match did).
Fot such a fat man he has a habit of landing on his, soon to be amputated, feet.

Edit: lol engalesch are hard

fair enough. I guess in that case I feel like boogie will low ball how much he actually earns, and caleb will say, "wow, you only make such and such a year but look at your spending habits and all the dumb shit you buy!" and boogie will respond, "heh, yeah ain't I stupid? muh brain don't work so good caleb!" milking the attention of how sad and pathetic his perceived financial situation is, all the while behind the scenes he's pulling in a larger paycheck than he leads on.

but you're right. seeing his day to day spending may still prove to be entertaining and could potentially unravel some of his lies, like how much he claims he doesn't order out, does he actually have 8k in monthly expenses, how much is he spending on dezi and chad, and other adjacent questions.

Does lardass do his own taxes or does he pay an accountant to do them? Who in their right mind would want to be the tax preparer for this shady (because he cannot give an honest answer and also because his FAT ASS throws a huge shadow) shitbird? Accountants/tax preparers/etc HATE dealing with crypto. I think the fat bastard has been doing his own taxes and is going to be in the deepest of doo-doo when he inevitably gets audited.

If Caleb isn't just click-baiting, he hasn't been preparing/paying them.

If Boogie isn't preparing/paying his taxes then he would have a lot of 'splaining to do. Boogie is so perpetually online that you can basically look up anything he might have said and find dozens of times he was being a little fake lying faggot once some new truth comes to light about him.

And this is without including the dozens of tweets in the past few years where he was stomping on about taxing the rich by the way.

"Anyone who doesn't pay taxes is a traitor", rich coming from a piece of shit who smiled while admitting tax evasion using magic cards funded by online donations.

I've always wondered if Boogie was ever going to get in trouble for any sort of financial fuckery. If you weren't here in the great year of 2019 when it all came crashing down, Boogie started a travel channel so that he could write off going to Disneyland 4 times a year as a single 45 year old man as a "business expense".

I have no idea how this stuff works because I'm not a scammer and online degenerate, but it doesn't make sense that he gets to play with toys and go to theme parks as a "business expense". For example, he claims that the $700 packs of cards he gets to open on stream and make videos with are "tax write-offs". I don't really understand how you can justify something so overly expensive and used as a luxury and toy as a "business expense" because you made $50 in Twitch donations using them. They are toys you play with, they are obviously not for any "business", they are for your pleasure. If something is a business expense, shouldn't it be limited to business and not personal use? Writing off thousands of dollars of toys and video games as "business expenses" because they appeared briefly online so that you can play with them forever doesn't seem like it's something you are able to do.

He said in a Reddit post a long time ago that he buys literally whatever he wants that is gaming related because it's a "business expense", so this guy most likely claims that the video games he buys are for "business". He also justified using donations to buy toys by saying "the toys make the money back in videos", lmao. This is shit you would expect from Eric Cartman.

I don't know much about this but I do know for a fact that the government does not like when you fuck with them financially. It just doesn't seem right that this fat retard gets to play with toys and not have to pay 100% for them because it's for his "business". Like he should not be able to be a cheap fuck and pay less than everyone else going to Disneyland because he filmed and uploaded a video that got 5k views.

seriously though, a 50 year old man claiming to the government that he needs toys and video games for "business" is hilarious. If he eats $100 worth of takeout for 15 minutes on stream and gets $20 of donations, do you get to write that off as a "business expense"? This fucker is so greedy and entitled and it would be hilarious to see an IRS arc where this guy has to cough up money for playing these retarded games with his taxes.

When DSP wasn't paying his taxes his detractors reported him and helped force him into bankruptcy.

If Boogie is in a similar situation he will have some interesting days ahead.
Also remember he's apparently doing this while on felony probation. That's not gonna help. I said earlier that just saying he'll go on disability because he doesn't want to work or isn't qualified for what he wants to do would bite him too, but maybe there's some more hope with a tax fraud situation.

So what Boogie is doing is abusing a legal grey area where small business owners, which is in itself a grey area whether or not Boogie is a small business owner, can write off expenses that is used to leverage against their revenue.

For Example, lets say I needed to buy fuel for $5,000 to haul wood for my business in a given year and the wood I hauled in for that year only made me $4,000. Lets assume a 25% flat business tax as to not overcomplicate this even further. Assuming i had no business related expenses, I would be charged $1,000 in taxes on the $4,000 profit. HOWEVER, I needed to buy $5,000 in fuel that year to do my job meaning I made no actual profit that year and had $1,000 loss. Since business taxes only apply to profits, I therefore didn't have to pay any business taxes to the government.

The above example is an ideal scenario because how is the government supposed to know I spent all $5,000 of that fuel on business uses? Lets say I only used half of that fuel for business and the other half for driving for personal errands in that year, then I make 4,000-2,500 = 1,500 in profit, which would mean I would owe $375 (25%) in business taxes. Why would I ever report this when I could just say I used it all on business and keep the $375?

Boogie is claiming that a lot of the overpriced nerdy bullshit, travel, probably whores, etc. he pays out the ass for is a business expense for his "content creation" business so he can leverage it as an expense against his revenue to pay minimal taxes (if any at all).

This is where auditing comes into play. The IRS is not that stupid and will come for blood if they can prove that something fishy is going on. This is when they would come to audit their business to investigate and find evidence of tax fraud.

The difference with the above example I gave and what Boogie is doing is that it would be legitimately difficult to prove in an audit that the fuel was being used for personal use. If Boogie was audited it would be hilariously easy to determine if most of the expenses he is claiming for his business are personal use.

However, Boogie and many other content creators have been able to get away with defrauding their taxes with this method for a long time because while the IRS is not stupid it is very behind the times and didn't really understand content creators and what they did for work. Going back to my example, its like if the IRS had someone who had never seen, heard or learned about a wood hauling business look into my example case. If they don't know how my business works and what expenses I incur, then they really wouldn't know if I was doing anything suspicious and probably default let me pass without issue.

That has inevitably changed though as content creators have become more prominent and there are signs that a lot of governments around the world are cracking down harder on these fraudulent tax write offs and performing more thorough audits.

every time boogie gets a view he steps further from the noose
He doesn't step away from anything because he only limps on beetus-hooves and there's no noose in heaven or earth that could bear the weight of Boogie's bullshit. But the more views he gets, the higher chance he'll be put at enough ease to give more milk. The worst things he's said and done have been when he's doing well for himself and as soon as this roach thinks its safe enough to come out in the open again, someone will get out the bug spray; only this time they know how he'll try to get away.
