I had the same thought when looking for Dez2's social media presence, but I thought maybe it was a little
too out there. Logically, it makes sense though. A girl that age, in that situation, probably spends hours on her phone every day. And we're meant to believe that one IG page is all she has? Right...
For a morbidly obese man who's spent a decade+ filming, you'd think Boogie would have a better understanding of angles, composition, and lighting. Turns out the only thing Boogie knows is how to work a hue slider.
Ignoring how fucked it was for Boogie to take this photo in the first place, it's just an awful picture. The flash overpowers the room light, making it look like a dingy motel room. The brown paint and gross tiles don't help. The water looks dirty and grey. It's an obviously terrible angle, and it looks like he used the wide-angle option on top of that. Dez2's already-huge forehead is in the distortion area of the lens, so it looks fucking ridiculous lmfao.
There's nothing in that photo that has positive energy; barely any bubbles, no bright colors that pop, Dez2 has the Kubrick stare, and her hair has 0 volume. Do you see a girl who looks confident in her appearance, or is even enjoying herself?
All of that combines into what looks like a photo of a human trafficking victim. There's no effort at all. Like Boogie walked in on her in the bath, whipped out his phone, and took a pic under the guise of "it'll boost your confidence!"
Now,
to be fair, this is on-brand for what Dez2 herself has posted on her IG page. Her pics all have shitty lighting and fucking strange backgrounds too. But if your 'job' is to take a nice photo of someone that'll make them feel more confident in their appearance, this is not it. This just echoes the depressed, soulless energy of all the other pics.
On top of all this... I went to check if the pic even had a description posted with it. The pic is now either gone or hidden from Dez2's IG page. Interesting.
