Ugh this is why people hate him so much. Just tell the truth ffs.
The feigning ignorance, the denying, the over-explaining, the exclamation marks (a sure-fire way to know he's seething and trying to be as polite as possible) and of course inadvertently admitting that he reads Kiwifarms. Like bruh, come the fuck on. No one else on the internet is talking about you dying your hair.
And then he looks like a total untrustworthy oaf when for the 1000th time his own words are used against him to prove that he's lying. He had nothing to lose by ignoring that comment and nothing to lose by admitting that he dyes his hair. He's nearly 50, so what if he's going gray? Hell, they're probably going to show him getting his hair dyed during the documentary for the "makeover" segment. 5 year olds lie better than Boogie.

When you have nothing you tend to cling to anything.
On top of that there’s an end goal to showing off his disgusting form; it’s what gets him views, pity, attention and is his main excuse for being lazy (can’t get a job, too fat! Can’t work out, feet busted!). There’s no benefit to grey hair, so his knee jerk reaction is to get defensive, lie and find a villain to blame.

Yes, Boogie is a compulsive piece of shit who lies about everything, literally everything, but some things make NO SENSE AT ALL.
Specifies, the "I hit my leg with a car door". It's clearly diabetes or some other condition related to his weight. The entire internet clearly knows this.. so why lie?
Is diabetes a character flaw? Is literally everything a flaw to this man?
If I proclaimed Boogie had lost weight, I genuinely believe he would come out with some bullshit lie about how "Thanks, but.." and make some lie about something else.
I just.. I can fathom the logic of Boogie. He doesn't track his lies, he doesn't care, it's just like about everything, make up everything, live in a dream world and keep dreaming stranger.
I don't know who the real Boogie is, you guys don't know who the real Boogie is. Does Boogie himself even know who he is? I doubt it.

Im gonna give my reasoning on why I think he does this.
I think a big part of it is that he is terrible at being confronted and cant handle conflict at all so he resorts to lying to save his ass (in his mind). He tends to do this if he cant make some horrible attempt to make a self deprecating joke to make the blows harder. We have seen examples of both when being called fat, most of the time hell try to make a joke about it, other times we have seen him seethe about it. Look at how fast he reacts to and points out when people make comparison pics over the years and his weight gain. Boogie is a WILDLY insecure individual and if he cant find a way to "joke" something away or milk sympathy for it hes going to LIE EVERY TIME.
When you have spent a lifetime of trying to deflect criticism and deny the harsh truth about you and your life its just gonna life as an automatic reflex and with Boogie some of that comes off in such comical ways. Like this hair dye issue, Boogie could as easily said yeah I dye my hair because im almost fucking 50 and im on the fast track to the sky buffet. He has made jokes or alluded to him being "old" to deflect jokes and criticism at his expense so why not here? Most likely Boogie was put on the spot right away and got insecure and defensive. As sure as shit we see him backpeddling and trying to explain why he said what he said. He had some time to think it over and see how people were reacting to it and decided to once again lie to make himself feel better.
No matter what hes done at this point the damage is done. If hes willing to lie about the dumbest shit that can instantly be proven what is that going to tell the audience at large? If he will lie about not dying his hair when the evidence is clear or make up nonsense about his heritage to explain why hes so red, then people will wonder what else he lies about. The answer is everything, Boogie cant help but lie because he is constantly fixated on what people think about him.
All in all Boogie hates himself the most out of everyone. Since he is full of self loathing he sees that when people call him out or criticizes him. Since the truth hurts he has to find a way to not make that true so he can feel better about himself so he lies, horribly. Look at the sugar baby he called his "Forever", he started off hiring her as a way to own the haters but he started believing he actually could make this a real relationship. He knew he couldnt and what was really going on but he wanted it so bad and like all relationships Boogie has, it ended before it could really start. Every attempt of "humor", "pity" or whatever is a way to distract himself from the garbage human he really is.
He is trying to deflect how shitty of a human being he is before it even comes out lol.
Good lord, what a dirt bag.

EDIT: Also, what was stopping him from queueing videos for upload while he filmed the documentary? I would think that any full-time content creator who has a daily/frequent upload schedule would have a number of videos pre-recorded for these moments. Boogie's style is extremely low effort so how come nothing was released while he filmed the Clum documentary? God he's lazy.
