If I were to guess I think boogie has an IQ far below 100. I know someone who has lil more than 100IQ confirmed and he's lightyears ahead of boogie. Also, he fucking learns from his mistakes and grows as a man, whereas boogie just regresses.

Since narcissists like Boog put self preservation above all else, he was able to stop himself from doing this shit when it could have actually impacted his case. Now that it isn't hanging over him anymore, he's willing to make higher-risk ploys for attention, and continue to do so up until the very moment he fears it could cause immediate, personal consequences. It only takes one look at him to know he has absolutely no foresight or concept of long-term consequences, but when it has the potential to interrupt his tramadol-and-scroll time, he'll shape up really quick.
